Such great food! They have a bunch of vegan and vegetarian options too that are so good. Such a cute space too! The staff that work here is always so welcoming and friendly! Definitely one of my favorite spots!

Came to Asheville for my bachelorette and my maid of honor chose Polanco well in advance for a 21 person party. When we arrived, I was so impressed with the set-up as we walked in. That was beautiful, then it went downhill from there. We reserved the upstairs being told our services would have unlimited wine. They “ran out of wine” after 4 bottles, then proceeded to bring out the courses and put bowls of family style chicken in cream sauce across the table. Cutting into the chicken, it was completely raw. My maid of honor, who set up the dinner, had to go make herself throw up because she is pregnant. When she approached the owner about it, there was no remorse, just “we are bringing you out more food”. No attempt to even take the chicken back to recook. He then proceeded to tell her she was being disrespectful when it was clear he was embarrassed about his horrible service and serving raw meat. Along with having nothing near unlimited wine, they also missed one of the courses that were supposed to be served. They took a little off the bill but it was nowhere near what should have been compensated. This place is a joke wrapped up in pretty decor.Don’t go here. It’s a sorry excuse for a restaurant.

Great spot for liquor drinks. Light food menu is really good and well priced. I had the short rib tacos, would pay more for more of a meal with more tacos though. Satchel was our waiter and was the best i’ve had anywhere in a long time. Need to come back to check out the club upstairs, have heard it is a wild time.

Our group reserved the upstairs for a bachelorette party. We had the entire space to ourselves and it was setup beautifully. We were all very impressed with the ambiance. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same for the service. The staff and chef seemed to be under prepared to serve such a large group, even though we booked months in advance. We were not provided with unlimited wine as promised or our final course. Some of the group found raw chicken in one of the dishes. When confronted, the chef did not apologize or try to make amends. In the end, he ended up yelling at the maid of honor and addressing the group in an aggressive manner as if we had done something wrong. I think the entire thing could have been rectified if he had simply owned his mistake and tried to make it right. I would not recommend this restaurant.

Absolutely 15/10 experience thanks to Satchel. Without that man, probably a 7/10. Food was 10/10 for me. It is tapas so plan accordingly. If you want dinner order 2-3 items. I loved the food and drinks were fine. Satchel though, he helped my friends and I have a great time. If Satchel isn't there, it's not worth it.Only complaints, on a Saturday night very low staffed. Was expecting a good margarita, pretty it was just marg mix and some tequila in a wine glass. And it was really dark inside, like no lighting to see what you were eating or the people around you.But I will definitely be back next time I come to Asheville, as long as Satchel is working.

I hosted a private event here and they didn't honor the 6 course/unlimited wine package I booked (they ran out of wine after 3 bottles and served half open stale bottles and warm Costco sangria). Served us raw chicken (I had to leave the table to induce vomiting because I am pregnant) and when I complained to the owner, he got in my face... a pregnant woman... and told me that I was being rude and unreasonable for asking for a discount. Truly the most wild customer service experience I've ever had.

Wish I could give it no stars. I was a part of a large group for a bachelorette party. The organizer of our weekend had reserved the upstairs for us WELL in advance. However, you would have thought that we had just walked in off the street with no prior notice. Aside from the lovely table display, the restaurant was completely unprepared for our private event. We were promised set courses as well as unlimited wine. First they brought out already opened and partly consumed bottles of champagne that were flat. Then we had to beg for more wine which hardly any was provided for a group of about 20 women. Then they brought out costco brand sangria and eventually told us no wine was left. Some women asked for a simple cocktail and was told by the bartender that he was sober and did not drink so he did not know how to make that. The plates of food we were provided were average at best. Then they brought out a chicken dish that was COMPLETELY RAW. One guest was pregnant and accidentally consumed this chicken. All of this considered, the most egregious part to me is the staff's reaction to when we complained about all the above issues. They became defensive and threatening to our organizer. Completely unapologetic for the treatment and food we received. This restaurant can't even get the most basic rule right, THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT.

We had a private event upstairs where 21 people total were promised unlimited wine and 6 tapas, unfortunately we only got served 3 bottles of red wine ( that’s all they had for all of us) and RAW CHICKEN. Sadly nothing was handled professionally.

Terrible experience. We had the upstairs private space reserved for a party of 21. At first, it looked as if things would be great. The space and table scape were beautiful. Things only went down hill from there. We were given a set price per person which was to include 6 tapas plates and unlimited wine. At first, they brought already opened and poured bottles of champagne to the table. We began asking for wine and after the 3rd bottle of red was delivered to the table, after asking several times, we were told that was the last bottle they had. We reminded them that we were promised unlimited wine and all they had to offer were two bottles of Sams Club brand pre-made sangria. The tapas began to come out and it was ok. The 3rd dish was a family style chicken dish, in which after a few bites from all around the table, we discovered that some of the chicken was completely raw inside. After the woman who organized the dinner, who is pregnant, brought this to the chefs attention, he began to get defensive. They never took the raw chicken away, never changed out our single side plate and fork that we were given, and proceeded to bring out the next plate. The last tapas was never given to us. When it came time to pay, the chef was hostile and unapologetic. Several people in the party were unwell the days following thanks to the salmonella. It's unfortunate that this chef didn't handle this situation better, which could have been saved had he had any respect for the patrons dining in his restaurant. It was an unpleasant experience, to say the least.
