This is one of the best places I've eaten in Asheville. The staff is friendly and attentive. The restaurant was clean, and we didn't have a wait at all. The garlic bread is so good, and they have different salad dressings and I highly recommend His Majesty's dressing. They have different options if you're not into pasta or rice, and that's great. I loved the spinach fettuccini, and everything we had was great. The chicken was moist and perfectly safe. You can't go wrong with anything you pick.

Wow, Jamician fusion in Asheville, I love this town. We had just finished the 3+ hours of brooding billionare vigilante (don't get me wrong, loved the film, huge fan of the Bat, just, well, it was broody) and we needed some fun and good food and Nine Mile hit the nail on the head.I have to give a huge shout out to the host. He was AMAZING, like if management reads this let me say (as a 20 year restaurant vet) get this guy in leadership. I didn't get his name, but we were there Sunday afternoon, 3/20 and he was the bomb. Lively, fun, intelligent, never ever stopped moving, helpful to everyone, supporting the whole staff. If I still had a restaurant I would totally try and steal him from ya!!!! But I don't so on to the food and service! Our server was great, he was very busy but never let us fall, stayed on us but was never pushy, made good suggestions and was a very good server.Food... hell yeah, really good food. We had the Reggae Mylitis for a start, basically a Jamican twisted nacho, but the smoked gouda chipotle queso is the bomb!!! Some of the other dishes were "The Nolan", my wife loved the dish, it was cooked perfectly and she said the coconut Sriracha sauce would "taste good on a boot"! I had the "Cool Runnings", I wanted more of that amazing smokey gouda chipotle queso and I got it. I loved the dish. The "Easy Skanking" salad, the tuna was cooked perfectly to the requested temperature and the salad was devine. Finally, the "One Foundation" pasta dish was perfection, especially when you got that perfect fork full of each item! All in all, this place was great, great service, great food, great music, really lively atmosphere. We will return.

Visiting from out of town, this location was convenient to my hotel. The atmosphere was casual and the service was good. I didn't know what to expect walking in, but found the food had a Jamaican influence. I had the "Cool Runnings" chicken dish and it was excellent. I would definitely recommend it and will return if I have the occasion to do so.

We don't visit often, yet we always enjoy stopping in to share a delicious meal at Nine Mile when we can. This visit was no exception. We happened in close to opening, and we felt good in a nearly empty restaurant with a masked server while we wore masks until our food came.Again, we shared The Nolan, which we so loved, beginning with two salads.Thank you Nine Mile for consistently excellent food served with ease.

Nine mile is absolutely one of my favorite restaurants. I frequently go to the south Asheville location. However the last few times I have done to go orders it has taken insane amounts of time. I was told 35 minutes. Which I feel like is already a little long, as I ordered my food at 4:50, but I just go with it. I show up to the restaurant after 35 minutes. I end up waiting well over another 30 minutes just sitting in the restaurant waiting for my food. So I have now waited over an hour for food. I watch people dining in come into the restaurant, eat, and leave in the time I was here. I understand staffing shortages, and will always be kind to restaurants about that. But this is a little ridiculous. I will always give this place 5 stars, the food is absolutely fantastic, but the to go ordering system seriously needs to be worked on. I am disappointed, but am coming back many more times.

I'll round up to 4 from what would probably accurately be a 3.5. I have heard so many people rave about this place and I really wanted a good caribbean food spot. Positives are solid service, great themed cocktails, great recipe/concept/sauces. However the noodle dish I had and the rice dish my daughter had was just underwhelming. It wasn't bad, it just had this sort of pre-packaged flavor to it. The sauces on the dishes were great and had flavor, but the noodles, rice, and protein itself just had a plain sort of out of a bag taste to them. To summarize, great drinks, great sauces and recipe/concepts, but something seems lacking in the ingredients to me.

Excellent! Whole family enjoyed every bite ? Food was super delicious, excellent service - 10/10 - looking forward to our next visit.

Amazing food! I have Alpha-gal allergy and they have so many AGS friendly menu options. They also have great vegan and gf options. Service was fantastic. Highly recommend!

Had a great experience here despite them being severely understaffed. Everyone was hustling, there was no reduction in quality of service. I ate at the bar and had Marley‘s magic which was a delicious fish dish. They serve local brewery and cidery beverages, and I had an urban orchard cranberry drink which was delightful! Will definitely be back when I’m in the area.

Lets throw caution to the wind and try a new place. So happy we gave you a try. We will be back!Best water in town! Seriously.
