Perfectly hand crafted drinks with love ❤️ Very tasty!
Nice cocktail bar that had decent cocktails. Drink menu was kind of small, but they had a dj playing house music which created a chill atmosphere.
Upstairs late night spot is great! Drinks are tasty and vibes are good.
Nice cocktail lounge with good natural sunlight and open windows. The house nitro margarita is really, really good ?
The richest collection of mezcals in Asheville. Tried one that was elote infused and another that was distilled in a clay pot. Both were amazing. Great vibes too. From the street you look up a long wooden staircase to see a neon red "mezcaleria" sign sizzling on the wall at the top. Excellent spot.
Drinks are out of this world. Thistle hands down knows how to blend the concoctions.
I'm a big cocktail nerd, and I've gone to many differwnt cocktail bars. The Imperial is among the best cocktail bars I've ever been to. The menu is great, and has several exceptionally good drinks, but the biggest aspect is the bartenders' ability to handle custom orders. I would say this is the best bar for unique, interesting custom cocktails that I've ever visited, and would highly recommend it.
Knowledgeable bartenders. Relaxed yet attentive service. Thistle and Gatlin were soulful and creative.
Very cool place, great drinks, and new friends. We're told that it turns into a night club at 10pm, but we didn't stay that late. Next time we're in Asheville, we'll stop back by to check that out.
This bar is upstairs from a restaurant, which used to be "Table." Drinks were expertly crafted by truly dedicated bartenders who seemed to imagine themselves in a really cool movie about very good cocktails. You could order food from Table below, which was always excellent. Table moved to another location in town during Covid and the restaurant below is now "Gallo," a Mexican concept. The place was almost empty around 7PM on a Friday night, but filled up around 8.30PM. That is unfortunate for some people because the kitchen closes at 9PM. The bar stays open until midnight, we were told. Our first server was fine. Not as good as pre-Covid, but average. First round of drinks were mostly good, and then our server disappeared. Someone from the restaurant brought the food, and the bartender spent so long telling the couple in front of her stories that we had to get up and order our second round at the bar. her fellow bartender was at the other end of the bar not talking to customers at all. Again, the drinks are just made up of a bunch of ingredients in an attempt to sound innovative. It should not be that hard to make a good cocktail. The most interesting item on the food menu, grasshoppers, was sold out, which happens a lot according to our server. The tacos were enjoyable, but not memorable, served in metal trays which doesn't go with the theme of the place at all. We had to ask for napkins and utensils. In summary, an average to poor experience in a place that used to be top notch. I'll try again after the next ownership change.
