Excellent food, friendly service and eclectic vibe.Don't let the building's exterior fool you. The food is artisan and crafted with TLC. Looking forward to future visits to this culinary destination.

Always a nice lunch. The veggies are Uber delicious. Locally sourced ingredients. Menu items like redneck pot pie which is superb. Chicken biscuits with gravy is another fav.

HomeGrown is an Asheville staple for when I have guests visit. The food is super tasty, the prices are fair, it has a relaxed atmosphere, it's on the same street as a bunch of ice cream shops, and their dishes are always in season. I'm glad they survived the COVID lockdown; if they closed, I might have moved! If you're visiting from out of town, swing by here, you won't regret it!

Everything was excellent. There was a line to order at 2:30, but we barely made our decision from the extensive chalkboard menu before it was our turn. Efficient and clean and a great staff!

This small restaurant is very unique. The menu was different and mostly comfort food…which I love. The food was super tasty. There were many artwork on display for purchase. Our kids really enjoy walking around to look at the different beautiful art pieces. We will definitely be back!

Fast efficient friendly staff. Quaint restaurant with cool art work. The food was amazing. Had the fried buttermilk fried chicken with snow peas and cheesy grits. Ashley had collards and cauliflower. Couldn’t stop eating it all.

Good food, cozy atmosphere

We were on the local UNC campus and had HOMEGROWN recommended to us. We were seriously surprised at just how great the food here is. We will definitely come back. Served fast. You order off a blackboard, pay the bill, take a number on a small pedestal to put on your table, and sit down. The food came very fast!!

wow it was honestly so good probably one of the best places in asheville. 10 stars if i could. chef’s kiss. and the staff was very friendly :) (yes i took a bite out of it already, couldn’t resist)

Teetering on hanger and craving some tomato soup, a google search led me to Homegrown. I was not disappointed. The tomato basil soup was perfect. Unfortunately, I scarfed it down before remembering to take a picture. I also ordered a cup of bean and ham soup for my boyfriend. He said it was delicious. I think we have to make a special trip to the area in the near future to try out some of the other full menu options.
