I met my friend for a long lunch and we decided to try Gypsy Queen. Oh my gosh! I'm so glad we did. It's my new favorite place to go. The atmosphere is nice and cozy and the service is spectacular....for example, we ran out of Cucumber with our hummus, and we were just about to order more cucumber and the man walks up to our table and hands us a plate of cucumber..and says, he noticed that we ate all of them, and we probably want more! Oh yes! It was fantastic and so nice of him to do. The food was incredible and they guided me to the perfect bowl of yummy goodness when I told them I wasn't sure what to order. I would highly recommend going to Gypsy Queen! You'll probably see me there!?
This was our first time coming here! As some other reviews said, the wait was kind of long for our food but it was quite tasty! The vegan poutine was amazing, lamb kefta was good and the hummus was awesome!

So much yum! Counter service spot but adored the interior design and the food was spot on. The curry soup special was insanely good and I really enjoyed my “not chicken” shawarma wrap. Husband loved his falafel wrap. Really wanted to try everything on the menu. Great flavors! We even enjoyed a couple of the delicious Lebanese candies near the register. Worth a stop
This is the second time that we had catering from Gypsy Queen. The first was quite a few years ago when they first transitioned from food truck to an actual brick and mortar building. The catering was for the same occasion as many years ago, a company party, long delayed due to Covid. We have coworkers who are vegan and gluten-free and boast other dietary restrictions, and we also wanted to make sure we had enough food and a wide variety of food that would cater to children, adults, and teens. Gypsy Queen delivered quality, variety and a fair price once again! We had chicken Shawarma, some appetizer plates, the seitan, Brussels sprouts, and more. This seitan was outstanding! The people who are normally not vegetarian loved it. The Shawarma was so tender, and the appetizer plates were big enough that one coworker thought that that was the entire meal until we brought in the other elements. Kudos to Gypsy Queen for delivering once again. They also worked with us on portions and how much we needed. We went back-and-forth a few times trying to figure out the number of people and the dietary needs and the portion size, and the gypsy queen folks were pleasant and flexible, and the whole experience was outstanding!
An absolute gem!! The food was AMAZING (we especially loved the vegan Lebanese poutine… it was devoured in nearly a minute it seemed). The staff were super friendly, and there was plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. Prices and portions were great, too! Definitely check this place out:)
My wife and I had Gypsy Queen cater our wedding and it was absolutely perfect!! Suzie and her team made everything incredibly simple for us and they were very accommodating to our needs for the day! Not to mention the food was DELICIOUS and beautifully presented!!!
