Delicious breakfast. I got the avocado toast with an over easy egg and a toasted caramel latte. It was to die for! All organic and natural ingredients. Many GF options.

I REALLY wanted to like this place because of their menu and all of the heathy options. And, my food was great. The experience was horrible. After waiting 45 minutes or more, I went in from the patio to check on my order. They seemed flustered trying to find my ticket and I had to describe everything we ordered. A woman told me that there had been a mixup and that they were remaking our order. Then, a waiter came over and said, actually, it's back here on a table. He took me to a table at the back of the restaurant and, sure enough, there was our (cold) food. I asked him how long it had been there and he said "Oh, five minutes or so." I wasn't comfortable eating food that was cold and had just been left on a table, so I asked for my order to be made over. The manager then explained that he had given the waiter the wrong order number and, since the waiter couldn't find a table with that number on it, he just left it on a table. There were only about 10 occupied tables in the restaurant, half of which had their food already. He literally could have come to every table and asked if they were waiting on this order. Instead, he left it on an unoccupied table, hoping somehow, the food and the customer would be united. Left a bad taste in our mouth and took almost 2 hours to finish breakfast. Won't go to this location again.

Pretty disappointing lunch with friends. Soup & salad combo, with carrot ginger soup and kale Caesar. Apparently there was an upcharge of 2.50 for the salad which I wasn't aware of, a service fee, and with 15% tip=$18 in total. Portion was comical-maybe 1 cup of soup with about 5 bites of dry chopped kale. They forgot my salad dressing, crackers, and messed up my friends order. I asked the food runner to fix my friends order and they brought her a salad 2x larger than mine when I even paid extra. Requested the crackers that came with my order and they brought me 3 tiny prepackaged crackers, about the size of a quarter. Needless to say, I left hungry and was out $18. Food itself was decent but nothing special. It was frustrating overall to have to keep asking for basic things and then leaving still hungry.

Food is great! But if you are not trying to order/eat in person... good luck. It's a 40/60 chance not in your favor that you'll be able to order online and 50% chance they'll pick up the phone to take your order. And it seems like they lose staff quite often. A healthy work environment makes for long lasting staff folks.

Stopped at Green Sage for the first time on our way out of town headed home to Charlotte. This location I believe was host remodeled . Clean , bright environment and wholesome food. Cindy took our order is was simply fantastic.

The staff is friendly and the shop is clean. Green sage is a quiet place, making it great to sit back, have your favorite beverage and enjoy a good book. The Green tea matcha is a must have! I have been enjoying this healthy tea for about 7 years now and it gets better every time.

I really enjoyed the Appalachian Trail Plate (Vegan) with the Tempeh Bacon. This is the best vegan breakfast I've had to date at a restaurant. The flavors of the tempeh bacon with the sprouted tofu scramble, the locally made ciabatta bread with the vegan butter and jam (yum!) with the root hash was the perfect combinations of sweet and savory flavors! The meal was filling but I felt good after eating, not overly stuffed but adequately nourished. They give you your money's worth and I was satisfied after finishing it. Also, I enjoyed the vanilla latte I had with almond milk. I could really taste the quality and it was one of the best lattes I've had. I will definitely be returning and recommend this place to others as they have a myriad of options for everyone. Lastly, the service was welcoming and contributed to the overall pleasant experience. I opted to try this location based on other reviewers mentioning this location as the better one to visit. I am glad I went to this location as they did not disappoint.

For a very very specific type of person. If you want a hearty meal with flavor, this is not it. Great selection of vegan and gluten free options, but that doesn’t mean they’re good. Everything is unseasoned and bland, and has the restaurant itself has the aesthetic of a hospital cafe. Not enjoyable for me.
