Ordered takeout and enjoyed next door at Archetype Brewing. We had ramen (Spicy Beef and Pork) and some pickled sides (Szechuan Cucumber and Kimchi). Portions are more than generous and filling. Very flavorful broths and the meat was tender and unctuous.Come hungry!
Great place to grab a delicious dinner! You just order and pay at the counter, then they have a whole cute seating area outside with plenty of tables. I got the pork ramen and it was delicious!! They also have tons of unique beer and sake options.The only downside is that I wish the menu warned about spiciness levels...the person I was with ordered the chicken ramen, and she could barely finish it because it was so spicy, while the pork ramen wasn't spicy at all. If she knew about that she probably wouldn't have gotten it.
I had been meaning to try Gan Shan West for a while and finally got the chance recently. We got both the pork and mushroom dumplings, the pork ramen and coconut squash soup. Every dish had really fantastic flavor! I’m looking forward to going back to try more items on the menu. Thank you ?
A unique spot, love the decor. Limited seating. We made it work. Chicken wings and rice was really good. Nice beer selection.
We are regulars here. Really good food and super convenient to have it dropped off at archetype brewing. Super easy and tasty
Loved that they delivered to Archetype Brewing around the corner. The flavors were really really delicious. My favorite was the brisket steam buns, but it was so so good!
We had the GSW rice bowl which was really good and a huge portion, although I did find some hot peppers in it that I didn't see described on the menu. We also tried the ramen which didn't have as flavorful of a broth as we're used to. Would happily get the GSW rice bowl again but will probably pass on the ramens.Edit: It was the vegetarian Ramen
Ordered online (which was really easy) and received three emails (Order Confirmation, Order being Prepared & Order Ready) which was very good. Unfortunately, when I arrived home, the Order was incomplete. I had also ordered (& paid for) two beers - WHICH WEREN'T INCLUDED. I emailed the Restaurant, but received no reply or refund.
Gan Shan West was everything I'd hoped it would be. I was beyond thrilled to see they had a beef brisket ramen. It was perfectly spicy and flavorful.
The food is consistently fantastic. The pork and chive dumplings are some of the BEST dumplings I've ever had. Everything tastes really fresh. If you like spicy, the Mapo Doufu is a must have. The flavors are like nothing I've ever eaten before. it's amazing! Everything we've ordered has always been wonderful!
