One of my favorite places I go to when I am in Asheville! I always get the liquid chocolate shot infused with lavender and it is Little piece of Heaven here on earth! If you are a chocolate fan please do not miss checking this place out!! I just bought the chocolate mouse for my mother in law and will see what she thinks!! We need one of these in Florida!???
If you are a chocolate lover, definitely stop here. My husband and I ordered the chocolate mousse, the devil’s food cake and some bon bons for later. All were fantastic! The man that waited on us was attentive and patient with us and with other customers. A must see!
The chocolate was to die for! Absolutely delicious. Crème brûlée, cheesecake, and mousse were our desserts. So many choices. I will visit again when I am in Asheville.
I am not a big fan of chocolate ice cream, but this chocolatier has a delicious chocolate ice cream and the staff is very friendly too. They have some great merchandise and not far from there a chocolate factory tour.
Wow is this great chocolate. The liquid truffle is to die for. Everything is first rate. No wonder it is always crowded!!
What an experience! So many chocolate options, if you can't choose don't forget to ask them what they recommend.Between the Chocolate Mousse, Drinking Chocolate, and Chocolate Cake, and Affogato, the drinking chocolate and mousse were our favorites (though everything was good).I'm very tempted to give four stars for only one reason, they forgot one of our items, so we had to go ask for it once and then go ask for it to be fixed once because they forgot something on it ?. They were very busy though so it was understandable, and WELL worth the wait! Will come again ?
Great spot in downtown Asheville for all things chocolate! Delicious chocolate crème brûlée, brownies, cookies, chocolates, even chocolate soaps!
Chocolate is in the name... need I say more? My husband and I stopped by here after dinner one night. There was a line, but it moved quickly. He ordered the chocolate mousse and I ordered two scoops of ice cream - chocolate and salted caramel. We also bought a box of their chocolates for the road. Everything was great! They have both indoor and outdoor places to sit.
French Broad is a must-visit whenever we come to Asheville, and this time we tried their cold drinking chocolate. It was a mistake to get both that and ice cream, but we powered through. Both were so rich and delicious, but we couldn't finish it all. I love their hot drinking chocolate and now I have an option when we come in the summer. There was no line when we came in, and service was fast.
You can't go wrong with the sipping chocolate. The peanut butter cookies dipped in dark chocolate was amazing, and the chocolate peanut butter cake was delicious. My husband ate the brownie before I got a taste, but considering there was nothing left I'd say he loved it. 100% recommend
