We usually stop here when we're driving through Asheville. Food is consistently good, don't mind spending our money here at all. As usual the floors are slick and greasy especially the bathrooms. I wish five guys would get their act together and get a different type of floor cleaner. Honestly every time I go into a restroom at a five guys I feel like I'm going to slip down and smack my head or something. I just can't understand how a company this large can't figure out a decent floor cleaner that doesn't leave a greasy film on the floor. I remember going into this very store after a knee injury and it was kind of terrifying. But whatever.
This place is awkward - if you're going to eat here go 3 hrs before they close... We got there at 9:15p and saw some other folks come in afterwards, closer to closing. Fellow in the kitchen was slamming everything that was in his hands... likely because of the orders coming in close to closing. Only words that came out of his mouth the entire time we were being checked out was "any drinks"? Was stone faced and silent when my lady greeted him. He was happy to see us lol. Five Guys is great, but find another location for your fix - this place is as awkward as farting on your first date.
I have heard a lot of good things about 5 guys. This was our first time eating at 5 guys and to tell the truth, I would rather go to Fudruckers. The guy taking our order was very short with us while we were placing our order. After this, my son wasn't aware that you had to tell them what you wanted on your burger so he came back while the receipt was printing and told him that. We asked if he could tell them what he wanted on it now because he didn't know and he said very snotty, what do you want? Then as we were walking to the table after getting our drinks we overheard him talking about him to the cooks. EXTREMELY disrespectful person. Customer service or lack thereof can kill a business.
My first time there and it could not have been better!! The young lady who greeted me was so pleasant and the place was very very clean!! The cheeseburger was juicy and delicious and the fries are out of this world!!! The bathroom was even clean!! Loved loved loved it!!! Definitely on my list of return trips!!!
Oh my goodness. Just 2 single cheese burgers and 2 drinks was enough but we also ordered a small fry and there was enough fries for 3 people. ?
My son loves this place. He chooses it for his birthday every year. They are well staffed considering most other restaurants are having issues. Food is good and the fries are amazing.
They were friendly and quick. My burger was perfectly prepared. The fries were hot and as fabulous as usual.
