Do not go here. If I could rate 0 stars, I would. I have a disability and have a service dog. I am also BIPOC. The sandwich maker told me off when I kindly asked if there was a status on my order and then proceeded to talk trash about me to his manager and fellow associate. I had been waiting 18 minutes for a simple sandwich and cup of soup when only one other person was ahead of me. They processed everyone else’s orders except mine, and then I found out I was behind all the other tickets. When I arrived there was hardly enough there and when I left it was packed. Tim, the manager, was very kind, attempted to accommodate, and seemed flabbergasted that his staff was acting so rudely. The cashier slammed my cash refund on the counter and sarcastically stated “I really hope you enjoy your sandwich, ma’am.”I will never eat at this Firehouse or another Firehouse again. Discriminatory and horrible customer service.
Hadnt been there in a few months and regret i did. They have a thing if your name begins with a certain 2 letters you get a free sandwich. Neither the guy at register nor any employees knew it until i told them and then they told me because i alrwady bought sandwich i was out of luck. They said the owner wouldnt allow it. The wait was awful and the meat was cooked wrong. What happened to my neighborhood deli?
The food tasted good. The meat was not distributed well. Half my sandwich had meat and half was just lettuce.
I ate dinner here two nights in a row because my hotel was a few doors down. Besides for geographical reasons the subs were excellent. The meatball sub was so simple, but it was fantastic. I recommend eating here if you are in Asheville.
The staff was amazing! There are still great people in this world that make you proud to co-exist with them! Those that take time out of their day to be nice just because it's the right thing to do! God bless 'em!
The General Manager of this location is phenomenal!!!! He is always professional, polite and gives excellent customer service!! He is truly a bonus to your team and I hope you know that!!!
Attentive and friendly staff, my order was super quick and they guys working were communicative through the entire process. I’ll for sure be back to this location, though it isn’t the closest to me
If this is your first firehouse experience please give it another try at literally any other firehouse across the United States. This is by far the worst Firehouse there is. This isn't from just one experience, but multiples. I always get a "club on a sub". So let's take my last 3 tries. The first time: I get home and they didn't even put meat on it. No joke. I drive back to the shop and the meat is still in the steamer. Second time: the put the meat in the container UNDER the bread. How does that even happen? Like they had to of opened the container, set the meat in, and put the bread on top of it. WTAF? and the last time: same as always, club on a sub. It had 2 slices of tomatoe, ham and Turkey on it.... that's it. No lettuce, no onions, no bacon, no cheese, I truly can't believe this place stays in business. Firehouse Subs is delicious, this one is not.
