Had a wonderful experience! Food and drinks were great. Highly recommend!

Wonderful dinner, delicious drink, and attentive and friendly service!

Wonderful place. The food was delicious and the service was great. The place is charming and cozy. We had a vegetable wrap and a veggie stuffed baguette accompanied with an oat latte and a fruit smoothie. We highly recommend this spot. Lots of vegetarian options.

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience here. The cocktails are unique and creative. The short ribs were amazing, the lobster Mac and cheese was delicious, and the dessert selection was wonderful. The atmosphere is friendly, the staff is fun, and the decorations quirky. Would highly recommend.

We discovered the place by accident but were very happy that we did so. They serve very good breakfast, we got the perfect strength for our roadtrip ahead. We had the everything bagel, one with feta cheese and the other with smoked bacon. The cappuccinos are also good.

This was a wonderful place to have breakfast. They had several different drinks and smoothies, breakfast sandwiches, and delicious pastries. Their coffee was good and fresh.

First time at Filo's. The ambience was relaxed and inviting. The pastry selection looked amazing with a large selection - cookies, muffins, croissants - some with filling, fruit tarts, etc. Non gluten selections too. I had the spinach, feta, tomato quiche - YUMMY! It was creamy, rich, fresh & tasty ingredients that were balanced. My friend had a turkey on croissant which looked good too. I couldn't pass up the large cappuccino - smooth, rich & creamy.

We met up with some of our family for my son's first birthday at Balck Mountain. We didn't know the area well since it was our first trip here. We asked the cabin rental company for recommendations for a bakery and they recommend Filo. We ordered a 8" pistachio cake and even though that wasn't one on their menu, they made it for us. It was absolutely delicious and everyone loved it! My mom and dad normally aren't big cake fans but even they wanted seconds of this cake. It was that delicious! I asked them to make it winter wonderland theme and it looked beautiful as well! We ordered a second cake for my cousin's birthday which was a few days later. We loved that cake too which was a chocolate mousse cake. We are so glad the cabin rental company recommended them to us!

Would that every place in Asheville were so good. It's self-defeating to write this (it's not really a "well-kept secret," but on the other hand it's in East Asheville, so it doesn't have most of the problems—and crowds and parking hassles—as in West Asheville and downtown. Or the ostentation and bourgeoisie of South Asheville (sorry, Emilios!).The menu is well thought-out and honest, always dependably prepared; the bar, well-curated. Recently Post 70 runs out of dishes earlier than it used to (thanks to Covid and shortened hours and general unpredictable-ness of shortages), which is nobody's fault. The bartending is always topnotch. The pastry/coffee shop, which is during the day, was started by the sister of the owner of East Village Grill (just across the street), a superb baker, and then the EVG's owner's son started the "indulgence bar" (have to love that term). He moved on to create Post 70, also a gem, in the unlikeliness of South Asheville. Another great aspect is it's small and calm, intimate even—except when obnoxious people appear and throw their voices (that's unusual, thank god). The decor is decidedly anti-trendy Asheville, but sophisticated and interesting in a good way. Go and enjoy, but please don't yak about it to your friends and enemies.
