Last night our server was very good. I ordered the worst dirty martini I’ve ever had. The food was delicious. We ordered the jalapeño poppers, 6 breaded tiger wings, the chicken sandwich with onion rings, and the beef n cheese dip with steak fries. It was all fresh, hot and on point. The food at East Village is known by locals who know where to go for above average, family friendly, food in Asheville. It’s “regular” fare done creatively well by nailing down method.
We were on a motorcycle ride on our date and found the perfect little place to stop on the way to the blueridge parkway and eat lunch. It was absolutely delicious!!! Great food, service and all. Super kind/friendly waitress who is great at her job! Clean as well! Which is huge for me because I don't like going somewhere that's messy or with nasty bathrooms or anything like that. You should definitely stop in and try their stuffed jalapenos for your starter. Mouth watering good! Highly recommend

I ate at the EVG for the first time and upon arrival the hostess said sit anywhere you wish which was great. So getting sit down the server came up and took our drink order rather quickly. Little did I know that would be one of the last times I would see her. The food took forever to come out as all I got was a burger and fries. The fries were a small portion for the cost but they were hot. The burger came out luke warm at best. The other person with me waited almost 30 minutes for 10 chicken wings! I was nearly finished eating by the time those came out. The server never brought one drink refill and we had to waive down another server to get more water. For the prices you’d expect better service and hot food.

I ordered the chicken tenders with mashed potatoes and cole slaw, I regret nothing. Everything was delicious.The chicken wings were huge, and yes, the tiger sauce was a hit. We had half dry rub half tiger sauce. We will be coming back.
Bomb little grille pub right off the highway. Always have great beer. The menu is amazing and the portions are huge. My preferred food stop in Asheville.
