No wait, the menu was creative and interesting. The food came out quickly and was delicious. The prices were fair for Asheville and what is probably the new normal. They lost a star because our metal table was on a slant and the stone plates wanted to slide off the table. Other than that awesome dog friendly place.

The service was friendly and we got there just before the brunch crowd so we didn’t have a wait. They had trouble getting our meals out at the same time so there was kind of a delay between the 1st person getting their food and the last person getting their order at our table of 7. I can appreciate not letting food get cold but it does get awkward when half your table is eating and half is not. One in our group really liked their quiche. I ordered Fit for a King (cinnamon biscuits & chicken). The biscuits are basically like French toast but biscuits instead of bread and they were heavenly! So good. I didn’t really enjoy the chicken, but I understand it’s popular. To me the breading was bland and the chicken was dry. 3 stars for the chicken, 5 stars for the French toast biscuits. 4 stars for the total experience for our party.

Good breakfast spot with good food. Service was fine. Grits could use a tad more salt while cooking and the menu could cut back on the number of times they reiterate that things are organic/cage free/fresh/etc. That was a bit redundant. But overall it was friendly and tasty.

I've gone to this location several times and the food and service has always been wonderful. It's there newest location and it's always busy but I've never had to wait to be seated. My "go to" is the two egg breakfast and it doesn't disappoint. The eggs are cooked perfect, bacon is crispy but not overcooked and the biscuits and jam slap!

BEST Gluten free fried chicken EVER! (Actually, I don't know any other places that do GF fried chicken.) ?We enjoy the new South side restaurant because it's quaint and minutes away from the movie theater for our date night.I always get the Buttermilk Fried Chicken plate for dinner and mashed potatoes with gf bacon gravy on top and haricots verts, which are green beans. My husband enjoyed Fresh Herbed Goat Cheese Omelet with heirloom grits.Great service! Staff are engaging, delightful, and on top of their game with caring for their customers. Highly recommend!

Came in for Sunday brunch with friends. Got there about 10:45 and gave my number. They texted exactly 35 minutes later, as they said they would. We were seated on the enclosed patio. It was cold at first, then very hot with the pumped in heat. Our group ordered mimosas, tea, coffee, the banana quick bread, yam scramble, veggie breakfast bowl, organic heirloom grit cake stack, and Early girl spinach potato cakes. They were unfortunately out of the bread pudding. Everything was 100% delicious. We had a wonderful time, and would definitely recommend this location. Our waitress was friendly, attentive and efficient. Will definitely be back. Thank you!!

We picked this place to eat a late lunch after touring the Biltmore Estate because of their gluten free options. We were not disappointed. Great service and great food. Even the owner came out to check on us. Breakfast served all day with mimosas, though they do have lunch offerings. I would definitely eat here regularly if I lived in the area.

It was not a good service at South Asheville. We were truly disappointed. Food was good but we were terribly disappointed with the service.

We are here from out of town. We were either going to Early Girl or Biscuit Head and were pleasantly surprised with Early Girl. The food is top notch and service is super friendly. The restaurant is clean and puts off a great brunch vibe. I got the Porky Bowl and it blew my mind. If I could cram another bowl in, I would. Eat here!
