My husband and I came here for dinner. We sat at the bar where we had exceptional service. The outside patio is beautifully decorated, as is the inside. And if you’re a fan of hoookah, look no further for a good place to sit for a spell. The menu is split up into savory, sweet, and sippable contents. We sampled items from all three. The cupcakes were amazingly delectable and I highly recommend them. If you don’t have room for them at the restaurant, I can attest that they keep well in the drive overnight.

Okay, so when you have a sign out front that says "Cupcakes and Cocktails" you have piqued my interest. We were looking for a late-night snack and were happy to stumble upon Crave Dessert Bar. It was quite crowded both inside and out but we were seated right away inside. Thankfully they have "non-hookah" sections as inside as we weren't there for that and being drenched in hookah scent, smoke, or smoke of any kind really is not something we're ever looking for. My wife and I shared the "hand cut fries" - The phrase "hand-cut" feels gimmicky to me...I mean are fries better if each one is a slightly unique shape because of the imperfections of someone manually cutting a potato? Maybe. I can officially report the fries were good. We also shared 2 cupcakes (as they come in pairs!) The Bugs Bunny which was an extravagant carrot cake situation that came (in addition to what was actually listed on the menu) decorated with pieces of caramel corn and a piece of dark chocolate on top, and the Strawcup Berrycake which was a dryish cupcake with cream cheese frosting and also chocolate. Both of these were good enough. You have the option of getting them "bad & boozy" with Godiva Liqueur infusions which wasn't right for us at this point, but which I'd definitely try in the future. I liked the caramel corn on the Bugs Bunny but sometimes when menu items come with ingredients that weren't listed it can be a problem for some...it wasn't for us, but just something to consider if a menu revision is ever done. If you're a vegetarian and hungry there are a few appetizer/small plate type things on the savory menu as well as a couple of flatbreads to choose from. There is PLENTY to choose from to drink with an extensive beer, wine, and cocktail menu, including a very enticing "sippable desserts" menu which looks like alone might be worth a trip back to Asheville.

This place was incredible. The staff was great, the vibe was awesome, the food and drink was so good. The menu has something for everyone. I had the signature old fashioned and it was one of the best I have ever had. Careful though, it’s 100+ proof! The strawberry shortcake was creative with a cheesecake base, shortcake layer, and a strawberry mouse.

We went to see Leeanne Morgan at the harrah’s auditorium. We ended our evening at Crave. Good assortment of desserts, a bit pricey, but it our desserts were good. Good way to end an evening.

Cocktails, desserts, and hookah! Though it was a busy night, we had virtually no wait. Our waitress was phenomenal. We had the churro fondue dessert, and for cocktails we ordered the Swedish fish and the lemon meringue. Everything was delicious, but the drinks were very sweet (obviously). Great atmosphere, relaxed setting, can’t wait to return.

Totally enjoyed the speakeasy vibe Crave Dessert Bar had to offer. Great cocktail selections and the desserts were amazing as well. The staff was very polite and accommodating in answering. All our questions. Would definitely recommend!!!

Delicious dining experience and to die for drinks. Ordered the thicker than a snicker and the hibiscus Bellini. Shared the s’mores tray, Oreo cheesecake, and princess buttercup cheesecake. Also got a hookah to spoil ourselves. Such a fun night and will definitely be coming back!

I’ve been to this location twice now. Has a nice lounge atmosphere. You can order drinks, food and hookah. The first time I came we sat outside as we had a friends dog with us and it was very chilly outside and windy. If seated in those conditions I would recommend ordering their s’mores kit with a foil cover to help roast your marshmallows. The indoor seating area is dark and relaxed. The pita chips were fired which was a bit of a bummer but their tiramisu has been great every time I’ve gotten it and it does come with ice cream! Their lava cake can be dense and dry depending on who is making it so ordering extra sauce on the side can be a life saver. Cool place to lounge and hang out with friends.

My FAVORITE place in Asheville! We were walking to Bold Rock, we saw the sign that said "cupcakes and cocktails" and we ran inside. Didn't even know they had hookah, which was a very pleasant surprise!! I love the atmosphere, the desserts, the hookah flavors, cocktails, and the servers are SO knowledgeable, helpful, and nice! We will definitely be coming by everytime (multiple times) we're in town!
