Cracker Barrel is always a good quick option on a trip and they didn't disappoint. Our waitress was super sweet. However, she ordered me a meatloaf plate when I ordered Chicken and Dumplings (which she did end up getting me my correct order) and forgot to change it on my bill. I didn't notice until I was already back on the road and on my way. It wasn't a huge deal, but it was more money for something I wouldn't and didn't eat.
great food. friendly staff. wonderful place.
Yesterday, I made the mistake of wanting to get breakfast at this Cracker Barrel. My wife and I were traveling for a wedding and stopped here for breakfast. We were told that it's be a 20 minute wait. This was fine and easily fit into our schedule.45 minutes later I asked if we were about to be seated and found out they forgot about us. They immediately took us to a table. During this wait, I visited the restroom. It was disgusting, it smelled bad, and had no hand soap.We sat at the table for 15 minutes before our waitress came over to us. Then 25 minutes after ordering we were told they were running behind in the kitchen. At this point we explained why we had to leave without eating. Instead we had to grab food from Burger King down the road.
We walked in at 5:30pm for supper. The fact that the parking lot was only 1/2 full was our first clue it was not going to be a good experience because at that time of day the place should’ve been packed. My husband & I walked straight to the station where a host should have been available to seat us, and we waited over 10 minutes. There were employees milling around, but no one spoke to us or offered us a table. I walked inside the dining room and saw lots of empty tables with several parties looking tired, bored, and had not been served drinks or food. We gave up and left. So sad, because The Cracker Barrel is a frequent “go-to” restaurant where we have in the past received good service and delicious food. This night, we received neither.
Honestly, the best experience we've had at any Cracker Barrel location. Our waitress, Miceala, went above and beyond with service! She's extremely efficient and takes such good care of the tables she has. I definitely recommend this location. The food was amazing as well. Thank you so much.
Had a delicious pot roast plate. Made sure that it wasn't served in a pot, as there's too much liquid in that serving. The unit proved busy. The server provided good to great service, as they were stretched thin with customers. Seating proved immediate.Consistency is solid throughout the chain. I would return.
Took way too long. It was a 30 min wait to seat 2 people. Service was extremely slow from, according to the apron stars, an experienced server. Ordered breakfast and it all had to have been sitting in window a while. It was all cool, barely warm. I could've sent back but we needed to get back on the road. Just ate it and rolled on. Disappointed.
Been a while since we've been to any Cracker Barrel! I had breakfast, hubby had lunch and ALL was delicious. Waitress was friendly and prompt, fireplace had a great fire & it was warm & comfortable in the restaurant.
Do not waste your time eating here the wait staff is very rude. We waited 30 minutes to be seated and after 15 minutes of no one acknowledging that we were sitting there I asked another waitress if we had someone to wait on us. She proceeded to tell me rudely after she took the people who were seated after us order she would be help us. I then asked for a manager who only offered to find a different wait staff to help us because she didn’t know where our waiter was. I understand the shortage of workers but having a good attitude is a must. If you don’t want to be there and can’t be kind go home.
The food was amazing as always. Our server, Andy, was very attentive to our needs. The reason 4 instead of 5 is that the servers were very busy trying to serve customers. However, for the duration of our visit there were 6-7 employees just standing around the hostess podium. It seems they could have helped attend to needs of the tables? Overall though, love this Cracker Barrel!
