Friendly people. Good food.

Was passing through from fayetteville and decided to stop to eat dinner. Not busy at all inside nut to wait 25 minutes to be seated. So. I walked around the retail store and found a couple of things I'm going to get after we eat. I guess they were short staffed. Food was cold. You could tell the oil needed changing cause the chicken was extremely dark. The waiter only came to our table once. Then I went to the retail shop and wanted a water fountain and a solar hummingbird water hanger. I waited for the lady whom seemed to be working some stock on the floor to acknowledge me but she never did so I left without making a purchase other than my dinner. You win some you lise some. I know not to visit that location again.

First I wanna start by saying our waitress cupcake was the best part of our visit. She's very friendly and tried to be very helpful. The manager however when asked for help seating the 9 of us, which yes it's a lot, all he would do is complain about how short staffed he is. They wouldn't even seat my 93 year old grandma until everyone got here. The food was either burnt or cold and even under cooked. We did talk to the manager about the food and he didn't do anything about it. This is the worst experience I've ever had at cracker barrel this place needs a new manager!

Beware people with medical service dogs.. The manager Roy refused to accommodate me and my service dog. I just simply asked for a table out of the way. Roy then rolled his eyes and got an attitude and almost started yelling at me and made almost every excuse why he couldn't work with me.Cracker barrel wants for people to contact them. But they sure love not getting in touch with you when you do contact them. So it looks like service dog harassment is just fine with cracker barrel

As I've said before, if you like this sort of thing, you'll like this sort of thing. This Cracker Barrel is clean, the cooks are competent, the food is good, and the chain is steadily improving their menu. No real complaints.

Great service and great food!!

PLEASE learn from my experience before you go!!!!!! So to me, the only proper, yet still completely messed up, thought I can make sense to think that the food presented was edible was the thought, “oh, kid’s will eat anything” and give the charred resemblance of grilled tenders. Then I have to be the one to find it in the car to check my own order, not caught by staff. No manager to care or apologize. Nothing but the very nice cashier commenting on the additional tender I got. Thanks. Will definitely not recommend this place for any reason. Awaiting my automated message from a person at corporate to make it look like they care and state “oh please email us”. This is the reason they will be the next business chain to see go and if this is the type of treatment you can expect, they deserve it.

The wait times are always longer than they tell you, but at least you can walk around inside the gift store. The prices are in line with the food quality, I would say average. Unlike a previous experience when they forgot our food order entirely, this time our server was very friendly, brought the food out quickly and looked after our drink refills. I think all restaurants are short handed and the servers are struggling. If you experience good service, let them know.

My Wife’s chicken and dumplings came out looking like cat food. Manager never came over to say anything about it. Was missing a salad and a side that only came out after we finished our meal. Slow service on a slow Tuesday night at 5 pm, but server was nice and polite.
