Great burgers, the walking taco is genius. Drive thru only at this location but still not a bad wait at all! The food truly feels like you're at a family cookout. Go enjoy it!
Sooo Cookout, Patton Ave, completely BOTCHED one of my orders. So my kids nor me, got to eat that night. I called, talked to their customer service line. They promised to send me a coupon worth $20 for my troubles. So I just recieved this letter, saying "please accept these coupons as our apology" LMAO...there is NO coupons inside. That just sealed the deal. I will NEVER waste my time waiting in that line EVER again. Thanks cookout for your not so sincere apology :) i hope everyone else they screw constantly takes suit.

First time trying Cookout and was not disappointed. Food was fantastic, quick service (they were super busy), prices are surpringly low, great menu selection. My burger tasted like it was made on a grill in the backyard. Cajun fries were solid. Will definitely be back if we're ever in the area again. Make sure to get a Cheerwine, dang that **** is good.
Coleslaw was just thrown in tray ( not in a cup or foil ) and made the Hamburger soggy!! When I ordered a Vanilla shake ( the last three times) I've gotten a Banana shake, plus the cups were sticky all over. Ordered Hamburger with everything on it and all I got was tomato, onion and cheese. I'm NOT Pleased at all!!! When I first started there they would get my order right, I would usually stop there after Church on Sunday but Not anymore!
Very busy location in Asheville. With the shortage of help they do the best they canBut... they should listen to orders better I have been here several times and they seem to rush through your order and get it wrong or maybe their intercom system is bad????Maybe loud to the patron..and not so loud for the employer ( s )
I went by last night at 2:30 a.m. I work nights and it's good to get some food late. It was only 30 minutes until closing and the thought crossed my mind I may get subpar food or service as they were wrapping up the work day. Not so. My drive thru order was correct and my food was hot with generous helpings. I got BBQ, slaw that was in foil so as not to get into the BBQ (nice touch), hushpuppies, and fries for $5.77 tax and all. 5 stars for a wonderful late-night experience and fair prices. I will be visiting again.
They made their standard cup size for milkshakes smaller for more money too. The milkshake is still phenomenal and it’s made the way you like it so that’s wonderful. (it makes up for the cost difference usually.)
This is the best cookout I've ever been to. Mostly because Nanette(I might be spelling that wrong), made sure my complicated order was correct at 2 am. I wanted to poach her. She literally made my experience worth the short wait. I can't express the how much she actually made a fast food experience special
Good cheap, and delicious, but dang the drive thru is very slow. 30min+ wait for "fast food"Hire more ppl, pay more or something to speed it up. Used to take 10min or less to get a burger here.
