I brought my family to eat. Normally I love chili’s. I’m from Johnson city tn. I have family in Asheville. So we planned to have dinner. I went in and was told that they would not seat us due to our party of 9. The host did not elaborate and said they were only seating a party of 6 or less. I may have understood if they were busy, however the restaurant was completely empty. We called and and spoke with someone who offered an explanation of being short staffed and they offered to seat us separately after we had already left. Every other restaurant had an hour wait. I did not drive an hour to not eat with my family. Whether you seat us separately or together it is still the same amount of people. So we are gladly waiting an hour and a half at a packed cheddars where staff were so kind over the phone. No wonder Chili’s was empty on a Saturday night.
Probably one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a Chili’s. The staff was very rude, immediately barking at us that they close in 20 minutes and that the bar is closed. And in reality we waited for 10 minutes for her to come and seat us when we arrived 40 minutes early. Then, after we were seated our food took 25 minutes to come out to us. Considering we were one of two customers in the restaurant I’m not entirely sure what on earth they were doing in the back.The one star is for the food. That was probably the only thing that was done right.
First time ever going ribs and mushroom swiss burger was great waitress was sweet even tho she looked like the only one taking care of the one side of the restaurant
Food was not good. There was two other tables that came ate and went way before we even got our food. Orders was wrong. Frys was cold. They had plenty of time yapping their jaws and leaning up against the wall instead of making sure their customers needed anything. Waitress had a ugly personality. You say your welcome instead of ah huh when a customer says thank you.
Went in to order some wings Togo the other night. Told me the only way I could do it is thru the app? All good, so I sit down and try to order thru the app.. sitting in front of the lady who I guess accepts the orders? App tells me they aren't accepting orders. This was 10pm, when they close at 12am for the app orders. What a weird waste of time and energy. Wrote off.
We had a short wait, the hostess was a little rude at first but our waitress Willow was amazing and I’m glad we decided to wait. The food was also amazing and came out as soon as it was ready. No long crazy delays and if there was Our waitress would come and give us updates.

Yelling in the kitchen, slow service, out of everything it seems. Thrown all customers in one room, definitely a scary place to bring a child.
The food here was totally fine. The server was rocking it between serving a full section and taking care of the bar. The only issue were the two women who wanted to berate the server and the food runner. It’s not that hard to just be nice to wait staff, especially during the holidays. I hope the server has a better day. If you can’t be nice to wait staff, don’t go out to eat. Period.
My daughter and I had Dylan as a waiter (I assume that’s how you spell his name as he had no tag). He was awful. He didn’t seem like he wanted to take our order to start. Then, I see him, on several occasions, flirting with the hostess and touching her hair and whatnot, very unprofessional and unsanitary as he touches cups, utensils and all. I never got my drink I ordered either (an alcoholic beverage). I had to ask for straws. I had to ask for utensils. I tried to get his attention for napkins but he was too busy conversing with the hostess, one of many times. He never checked on our table during our stay either. I ran out of water and never got a refill or offered anything. I saw several other people needing him or something and they too seemed agitated. I paid for our meal and upon looking for the manager, I see Dylan and the hostess at it again. I asked for a manager and spoke to him. He seemed helpful, who knows. I explained I’ve never once had bad service there. I love the food and atmosphere and have always had great service. I’m a regular there as it’s also my daughter’s favorite place as well. But this time I was let down in many ways. While the food was good, the service, the lack of professionalism and the lack of cleanliness was appalling. Heck, the hostess would start to wipe a table and in front of my daughter, he brushes by her butt and they giggle. Yes, highly disappointed in that place tonight. I know the manager said they are working on building a team but they need people actually wanting to do their part. You’re there to work, not a pick-up joint. Needless to say, he didn’t get tipped by me.
