Today we found an open parking spot! 1st time and won’t be the last. Ruben & fries excellent. My wife had the shrimp salad also excellent. It’ll now be on our short list of lunches. Too bad evening isn’t available. But we’ll take what we can get. Great staff very personable and they cater to working people which is a plus especially with limited time for lunch. ?
Hearty, blue-collar menu prepared with care and quality ingredients. Example: Chicago dogs. Not "deconstructed" or "elevated," just 2 big all-beef franks on regular buns with house-made relish. You can't order wrong as long as you brought a good appetite. The full parking lot speaks for itself.
Was a big fan of this location when we lived in town and it was "Dog Day Cafe" but not enamored as much until now. Hubby and I ordered the Hot dogs and a basket of fries and were really impressed. Looked as though everyone in the restaurant and outside were enjoying their various meals as well. I love to cook so we rarely eat out but definitely will be back here soon even though we are not living nearby any longer. Worth the trip in for sure...Friendly accommodating staff completed the experience.

Okay, I am guilty. I am hooked. Been here all week for lunch. It's close, price is right, AND Now, I have tried many lunch sandwiches. Best - Chicken Parm - Always great - Cheese Burger - Now that's my opinion. Get here 5 mins early and you are good if on a lunch break. ?
Pricey for a beyond burger nearly $15 with an add on but adding bacon made it worth it. My second time was just as good as the first! I love the home town feel. There's always a wait cause it's good food but a reasonable wait time.
The food here is consistently outstanding!! I have had everything on the menu, it IS ALL GREAT!!! Everything is made to order, is fresh, and full of flavor! The Reuben is one of the best I have ever had - I highly recommend it! The burgers are juicy and are excellent! I am picky when it comes to fries, I like them cooked - little brown with a slight crunch, and these folks make them just right! Give them a try, super nice people!
Got take out for my family and I yesterday. This was our first experience and on a scale 1-10 it’s a 100! Great food and great service. The owner was so friendly I stayed to chat for a few minutes. This is the kind local small business we love to support. We will be back soon and often!
It was my first time visiting this restaurant,Very spacious, clean, and good customer service.The woman at the counter have both of my daughters some bags with toys in them. Kids loved it.Menu was full of options, not greasy death you’d get at some places in Asheville metro.Food was fresh, everyone seemed to enjoy it. Wife was impressed.A definite stop for lunch on a work day of I’m ever in the weaverville area for window cleaning.The customers that were there were also nice people. Awesome food and service for reasonable prices. We ordered Chicago dogs and the Ruben. All came out fast and super yummy. There’s picnic tables outside to eat.
