We both had a craving for hot dogs today. We were camping at Lake Powhatan. We considered fixing some ourselves, which meant buying all the things needed to do this. Since there are only two of us, we looked online instead, of course. Celebrity's Hotdogs, near the campground, had good reviews. We decided to give it a try. My husband ordered his All The Way, mustard, chili, slaw, onions. I ordered mine with just ketchup and mayo. Both were prepared as ordered with a, no color added, weenie, which filled the soft warm split top bun. They were like what we had as kids, at home. I don't know the brand but they just tasted like a hot dog should, without being too big around or nearly burnt.We also had hot fries and a bottled soft drink as part of a combo.We absolutely plan to eat there again the next time we are near by.
Never disappointed with this place. They get you in and out quick. Very pleasant staff that seem very happy to be working there. And the menu is simple but it's all the things you would be in the mood for if stopping at a restaurant with "Hot dogs" on the sign. Nothing but positive vibes when I go here. Love the race car theme too !!
We were searching for a great hot dog and found it at Celebrity's. I got an all the way hot dog, it came with fries and a drink. My husband and I ate for under $12. It was yummy and the service was great!
This was my first time visiting celebritys hotdogs. My mom and family have been telling me for years they are tree best hotdogs in the country. And that I needed to stop by and try them. Well they went wrong. I stopped by there yesterday. They are located right beside where I get my oil changed. Since I was that close i went in and had a late lunch. It was delicious. I highly recommend celebritys hotdogs
This is not a michellin starred restaurant, and it doesnt pretend to be. But what it IS, is a great place to grab a no-nonsense lunch. The food is well-made and tasty, and the staff is extremely welcoming and friendly. If you are tubing and exit the river at bent creek, its one of the better places in the area to grab a bite before heading home. I usually stop by on my way back from the shooting range.
Great hotdogs at an amazing price.Quant hot dog shop decorated in racing memorabilia of Robert Pressley.....I think he took my order too.It's worth the stop. Vthe place is clean, service is quick and they know their regular folks. 7.99 for 2 hot dogs all the way,caries and a bottle drink.On the downside, no homemade sweet tea.And BTW, they sell fried bologna.
Staff were very friendly. Hot dogs were phenominal. All the way, is mustard, chili, onion, slaw. Hot crinkle cut fries. Making this a regular stop when passing through. Good prices.
Definitely a locals spot. Good food and a good deal, fast.
We had to stop today since we were coming by there. We don't get over there much. I think their hot dogs are better than the other popular hot dog place that I'm not gonna name, but if you live around Asheville then you know which one I'm talking about.
