We just happened on this place walking downtown looking for breakfast. Small but they put as many as they can in seats. We sat inside and loved it. The food is really more than you can eat and we should have shared but it was amazing! If you like many flavors, this is your spot. The staff are friendly and fast.
Ate outside on a very hot day. Restaurant was very crowded and food took some time coming out but it was delicious. Based on our experience and our observation of the people around us, they could serve 1/2 as much as they do an everyone would still be happy - portions are HUGE.
The food was awesome and portions were big, but I still managed to clean my plate which I normally don’t do. Coffee drinks were also delicious. They don’t take reservations or take names down, they make you stand in line until you’re seated which was a slight inconvenience as the wait can get long given their small/limited space, but it was worth the wait even though we stood in line for 30 minutes. Also, I know it’s a weird complaint, but the servers don’t say “you’re welcome” when you thank them lol.
Wonderful atmosphere & incredible food, an absolute gastro-feast! The service was on point and the menu has a wide selection. The Organic Chicken BLT and the Arepa Perico are fantastic! The servers are friendly and they also speak Spanish for anyone who is looking for that, enjoy!
Super slow service, ingredients missing from meal. I was charged $5 for a cup of hot water. Generally disappointing.
I stopped for breakfast here while visiting Asheville. Breakfast here is different from regular American breakfast places. It was more flavorful and more expensive. Coffee was good. Usually breakfast places have watery and weak coffee. Service was average, I would recommend this place for anyone so they can try something different and tasty.
What an amazing place. Food was delicious and fresh. Our sandwiches were super yummy . Wasn’t big fan of onion soup though. But that’s it. Everyone super friendly and helpful. Awesome lil restaurant.
This place used to be a great place for locals to get breakfast. I understand businesses need to raise prices to make it, but dang the Bomba roll is now almost $15 pre tax and tip. No longer a place for locals to get a good breakfast, sad because it was a staple. The food has always been good and I'm sure still is, but a local working person just can't do that anymore.
If you’ve been craving an arepas con queso after watching Encanto on loop, come here. You can order the arepa by itself, stuffed with cheese, for $6. It’s crispy, beautifully fried, and the cheese is generous. I added a pinch of salt to really make it sing. Order a runny egg to stuff inside if you wanna go full hedonist. The beer and wine and bubbles selection is surprisingly diverse and international. The staff were friendly and helpful. When the weather is nice, dining on this corner on an early weekday morning is a beautiful way to start the day. ☀️
Cant believe I almost missed this little gem. We had such great food and received 5 star service as well. This place is a must if your in Asheville!
