The classic chicken sandwich is super delicious. Great light crispy breading, the pickles add a nice salty touch and the bun is a little sweet. And, Cheerwine bourbon slush! Need I say more?
Got the nuggets and fries. Everything was hot and fresh. Nuggets we’re not overly battered and pretty large. Fries were outstanding.The stars were the sauces. They said they make them in house. Tried the honey mustard, ranch, and white BBQ.It’s $13 for nugs, fries, and a drink. It’s also a good hall so it’s naturally a bit higher priced. But you get a lot of food so I think it’s certainly worth it. Would definitely eat here again
We got the K pop. It wasn't bad, just not great. The breading was soggy but the sauce wasn't too sweet.The waffle fries were A+, worth going just for those.
Over priced for what you get. Breading on sandwich just came apart and fell off. Otherwise, both sandwiches and fries tasted good.
I loved this spot when they first opened. I know the pandemic has impacted a lot of businesses and many have had to pivot to remain open. However, I’m not a fan of the changes Buxton made. They got rid of the original chicken sandwich with the spicy mop and introduced a buffalo chicken sandwich to replace it. The original sandwich also seems to have less seasoning. They have also moved to steak fries instead of the waffle fries. There’s also no longer a salad option. The food is still good but doesn’t have the unique wow that it once had.
Oh man! Waffle fries- Check! Chicken Burger - Check! Chicken bites- check! Tasty- Check! The chicken burger was one of the best I’ve eaten. Great spicy seasoning , crunch and like a thousand island meets Mayo sort of lettuce sauce slathered on. Slice of cheese- perfect bite. The waffles fries were one of my favorites as well. The same spicy seasoned dusting on the chicken burger was on the waffle fries- only negative thing……. Not enough fries! Soooooooo good!! Definitely a place to eat at! The cherry bourbon slushie- probably could have done without it…. But overall food- 2 thumbs up!

Buxton Chicken Palace makes Chic Fil A look like Babytown Frolics. Get the chicken with cheese! I love the light breading, I don't need 3000 extra calories on the outside of my protein. The pimento cheese is the most perfect texture, but you're gonna want to turn your sando as you eat it to compensate for the sliiide. Love the pickles!! Don't miss the Palace Sauce for your delicious waffle fries, Chipotle BBQ or Honey Mustard for the sando. Service is FAST 95% of the time, don't worry about these grouchos who only went once. Order thru Takeout Central for local delivery under $5.
Chicken with cheese combo. Not gonna lie. Very avarage and plain for the price. Bun got really soggy from pickles. Lacking flavor or spice... really not worth the price. At least toast the bun or something..Probably worth $6 sandwich
