I ordered and had this delivered with door dash. The bourbon bread pudding was to die for. The cookies and cream cupcake had an actual cookie baked inside. so delicious. Everything tasted fresh and moist. The espresso brownie gave me the kick I needed and wasn't too sweet.

First, this little shop is a little difficult to find. Look for the big sign in the parking lot that says Lancaster Mall. This little shop is tucked into a strip mall right next to the Mexican restaurant. Look for the cake graphics on the windows.Second, these slices are friggen huge. There is no single bite that hits all layers. These slices are COMMITMENTS and we'll worth the $8 price tag.I ordered the Chocolate Express and Red Velvet Chocolate. The chocolate is your standard death by chocolate, which means it's delicious. No notes.The red velvet is like a cheesecake and those strawberry shortcake ice cream bars the ice cream man sold had a beautiful baby. That was the standout winner. It's got some kind of shaggy coating, cream cheese frosting, and a full layer of cheesecake (is my guess). It's phenomenal.Online ordering was straightforward and pickup was a breeze. Make sure you let the cakes come to room temp before attacking with a fork or you'll be a sad panda.

I have heard amazing things about avlcakelady and finally got to place an order for Christmas. I got a bunch of hot cocoa bombs and my fiance picked them up today since I'm recovering from spine surgery. i have been wanting white chocolate hot cocoa bombs since surgery and I am so happy ❤ amazing quality, easy ordering and pick up. I met the AVL Cake Lady at the WNC Farmer's Market where she had a stand for the Watermelon Festival. The watermelon cupcake I sampled was so good that we ended up getting several to take home with us. It's a lovely family-run business and I really enjoyed the cupcakes I ate today. Thank you!
