great food well curated & varied wine list informal, yet gracious service
The food was very good however for the price, the portion sizes of the pasta dishes were very small. The dessert, however was reasonable.
Wonderful food and service, ALWAYS! We shared the tomato sandwich because itâs better than any tomato sandwich Iâve ever had. My husband had the catfish; it was delicious. Lightly battered in cornmeal and fried. I had the succotash and it was not your grandmotherâs succotash with canned Lima beans. It was a delicious combo of peas, squash, eggplant, and cucumbersâ¦amazing!
Great service, nice ambience. Mediocre vegan options, wouldn't return unless they added new vegan options.
Another fabulous meal at Avenue M! Fresh ingredients and great flavor combinations! Best tomato sandwich Iâve ever tasted. The pasta dishes are always delicious; tonight was no exceptions. In a foodie town Avenue M is a hidden gem the locals, like us, love!

Stumbled upon it on OpenTable while looking for a place to eat. We were in town for the weekend and weâre trying to avoid downtown Asheville for a change. Great, unique menu choices, excellent cocktails.
