Rude staff. Told me to read a sign when I asked a question. I gave the donuts I bought away. Don’t recommend. I will never go back.
Best donut shop in Asheville in my opinion. I’ve tried every single flavor of donut that is available at this shop and none of them disappoint, in fact they go above and beyond in making delicious donuts! The prices are also cheap and they have coffee available as well to enjoy with your donuts. Staff is incredibly friendly and makes you feel like home every time you come in!
Never in a million years did I think I'd be writing a review on doughnuts or donuts. However you spell them. This place right here..will make you think twice before you go get in line for those frozen DD donuts or those glazed Krispy Kreme ones which are still good but this place Ava's has the best I've ever had. My absolute favorite in the two times I've been is the cinnamon crumble. Yes it's messy and it gets everywhere but the softness and deliciousness of that donut is worth all the mess it makes. It has the word crumble in it..what else would you expect? It melts in your mouth and makes you want another one. My father and I went yesterday after lunch and I had to get my cinnamon crumble. This was only the second time Id been here but my first experience was so amazingly great, I'd gladly come back. I got the last two red velvet ones for my kids and my dad got hos usual sour cream. I heard how great the bear claw is so I got the last one and my dad got an apple fritter for the next day. 6 donuts with tip out the door for $12. WORTH EVERY PENNY!? I let my dad try the bear claw and that is now his new favorite. He's been there so many times to always be sold out of them and he finally was able to see how amazing they are. I'd give this place more than 5 stars if possible. Its unreal how a small shop like Ava's packed between a Salsaritas and a Starbucks can change your mind about ever wanting to wait in a drive thru for a donut. Just go here and you wont be disappointed.

Our family of four each enjoyed the taste and variety that Ava's offered. We went on a Wednesday morning around 9:15, and there was plenty to choose from. I definitely recommend.

Messed up my order then told me to drive back to replace the donuts.. what kind of customer service is that? Why not just allow me to have the donuts a different day. Not to mention put the donuts I gave them back, back on the shelf to sell to another customer. That is a covid risk to other customers. Was a long time customer they definitely have great donuts, but you lost me as a customer over two stupid donuts that YOU messed up on. Great customer service management, couldn’t even answer as to why they would make me drive back to replace them. Ridiculous.
Very disappointed in their Cream Filled Long Johns. I got one this morning and there was about 1/4 teaspoon cream. The little bit that showed out of one side of the donut was all the whipped cream there was in the donut. I really just got a plain chocolate covered donut.?
Best Donuts in Asheville, hands down. Also very reasonable prices. The staff are friendly and helpful.
