Friendly staff!!! We went at 3:30 so we skipped the buffet and just ordered off the menu.. very reasonable prices and lots of good hot food! And the egg rolls were to die for if you order them off the menu they were $0.99 each! I could have just ate four of those and been happy! We had kung pao chicken and chicken with mixed vegetables and brown sauce which contained seven different kinds of vegetables! Highly recommend
We really liked it here! My son is autistic and was having a hard time and the staff was very patient and understanding. They even gave me his meal for free. Will definitely come again.
First time customer from out of town. I came here for lunch after visiting The Billy Graham Training Center (The Cove). The Tom Yum soup was my favorite!! It tasted delicious! I really enjoyed their Singapore Mei Fun noodles with vegetables, and a vegetable egg roll. This buffet had plenty of vegetarian choices to pick from (you may have to pick out the vegetable portion you want out of a meat dish. For example: I ate the veggies from the Tom Yum soup, but did not select the chicken within the soup). This buffet also had dessert options. I enjoyed their banana pudding and jello. The customer service was friendly. The price of my meal was great! It was an inexpensive price for good quality food that tasted delicious. If I am ever here again on vacation I would enjoy coming here again. If this restaurant was in my hometown (in FL), I would eat here on a weekly basis! I had a great experience. There is no buffet restaurant like this where I come from that serves at this price with this type of yummy food. Thanks! ?
Looks a bit shabby from outside, but food is good and price is OK, good and friendly service. Good selection from the buffet, I found some dishes delicious, but generally everything is quite fatty.
doesn't look like much from the outside but I found the food to be really good, especially the kung pao chicken and peppered cabbage. Next time I'm back in town I will go out of the way for my lunch. Reasonable priced too.
Oh my! Been looking for a good Chinese food place nearby for years! This place kicks all the chain Chinese food places butts! Quantity and quality produce and real meat! Very very good. Highly recommend all Chinese food lovers give Asian Golden Buffet a try. I did and I’m back again writing this review!??
Me and my wife ate there at around lunch everything on the buffet was excellent I tried it all and it was all good which was a major surprise because you expect some things to not be so good but this is by far the best Asian buffet I have ever ate maybe the best buffet period the only thing I wish is they had different yum yum sauce. But the food is so good you don't even need it great service also I think for me and my wife 2 buffets 1 coke and 1 water it was under 25 dollars I think like 23 we will defiantly be going back
Coming from California where Asian Restaurants/Buffet with huge selection of food almost on every corner, this mini buffet was beyond my expectations. Food was fresh and hot. Hot and sour soup with squeezed lemon was so so good that I had two full mini bowls of it. Hostess was also very nice. Greeted every visitor with smile and passed ice cream to everyone. Don't hesitate to stop by.
The food is amazing. You can tell they make most of it in house; it is too rich and flavorful to be your typical distributor flash frozen soup in a bag!The place is a real sleeper of an amazing buffet. It is small, and looks like it was a tiny Mexican restaurant at one point, but now it is a delicious little Asian buffet with curry I will literally fight you over. The only reason I’m not giving it five stars is that the bathroom could be cleaned, but it is hard to tell if I just showed up after an army of workers since it was the lull between lunch and dinner.Drive by the Panda Express, and get yourself some damn good asian buffet here instead!
Honestly I'm surprised. Given the lack of good Chinese food in Asheville, my expectations were low. I'm not blown away or anything, but this place was better than I was expecting. They offer a buffet, which you can get to go - just ask the hostess for a box. Fill the box, or multiple boxes, and they'll charge you by weight. I left with a full box (pictures) for under $10 including tip.Nothing blew me away, but the crispy things were crispy and the soft things were soft, and the seasoning made the thing taste like the thing. Even the tofu was pleasant. Just make sure to get all the accompanying sauces / dips.If you're ok with Panda Express, you'll be ok with this place. If you're ok eating inside, it's a no brainer for value.
