So here's the deal y'all. French Broad Chocolate is great and all, but you can NOT keep sleepin on Asheville Chocolate. Let me tell you why. Super friendly service. The owner is the sweetest human ever. The shop is super cozy and welcoming and has great seating and a great location in downtown. And their chocolates are divine. THE LINE ISN'T 45 MINUTES LONG EVERY NIGHT. But best of all, they dark chocolate vegan gelato. Asheville Chocolate has blessed this city with some amazing gelato, perfect for a warm summer night. And the dark chocolate vegan gelato is by far the most amazing thing i've ever tasted in my 25 years of life on this planet. I have a pint sitting in my freezer as I type this! Get your butt over here ASAP and experience your new favorite chocolate shop in Asheville! Great vegan options and lots of variety.
This was some of the best chocolate I've ever had! I got a pack of four truffles, and each one had a unique and delicious flavor. The inside was very spacious and clean, and they were well stocked with plenty of chocolate and other treats.
Not local, so stopped through and the staff were very nice and efficient. Their recommendations were all perfect. Our group tried the PB&J Ice cream and it was surprisingly good. We also tried a variety of chocolates, and the one that stood out was the firecracker; chocolate, cayenne pepper, and pop rocks sounds odd but it worked. It wasn't too hot, and worth a try.
If you like Snickers, please try the Cashew Turtle...it was amazing. Their homemade Gelato is also very good and they give big scoops!Gelato flavors I tried: cookies and cream and roasted almond
My wife loves chocolate and this is one of her motherships. The staff is friendly and they have much to choose from. Price wise it’s very reasonable

This place had our favorite chocolate. They have a handful if truffles to choose from, solid milk in a bar or in shapes, and my favorite part was the hot chocolate with a scoup of ice cream.
There aren't enough stars to rate this place! All the employees are knowledgeable about everything they have to offer. I love that no matter how busy it was I was treated like the only person in the room when it was my turn to order. I appreciate that masks are required. This place will definitely get more of my business!Just a thought:When reading the reviews for here I noticed a poor review from someone who was refused service because they didn't have a mask. They didn't have one because they were from out of state and masks weren't required. I don't think a business should have their rating lowered by that type of reviews. Before you travel please take the time to check out the mandate for your destination. You will have a better time by not being turned away and businesses will not have their ratings lowered because you weren't prepared.
Good service. The employee helping us recommended the passion fruit gelato. It was so good!! And I never get that kind anywhere else! If you are unsure, just ask for a sample.
