We had excellent service, our waitress was friendly and did a wonderful job taking care of us. The food came out quick and was delicious! We had the sampler appetizer. The portions were so plentiful paired with a salad it could’ve been our meal! We both got the bourbon street chicken and shrimp and it was amazing. The chicken was so tender! We had so much food left. The house salad was very fresh. Overall we had an excellent experience and was glad we didn’t listen to the bad reviews!
Baby back ribs we're delicious, but side portions were kind of small. I spoke with the manager about the size of the portions, she went ahead and filled the portion cup to the top after a brief lecture about the size of the portion being correct. I disagree. I don't know anyone who feeds their family 2 tablespoons of veggies or mashed potatoes with their meals.
We sat at the bar and got food and drinks. The drinks were good but the food not so much. The appetizer spinach dip was cold and had to ask them to warm it up. Then when our food came they gave me the wrong side but they did correct it.But my steak I asked for medium which is a little pink and they gave me rare. The only thing it didn't do was moo. We had one bartender/server get rude with us trying to take our food before we were done eating and handing us a check when we weren't done. So we felt rushed. I don't recomend the food but the drinks were good and poor service.
I offered through DoorDash and picked up food myself. Two Calabash entrees did not have the vidalia coleslaw. There were no condiments provided and no rolls. Their attention to detail continues to decline. Every time we order something is missing or wrong
Eh, wasn't impressed with the food, drinks, or service. The sweet tea was not sweet. When we told the waitress she offered to bring sugar water to mix it with, but she forgot to ever bring it. My boyfriend had to literally go look for her and found her playing on her phone. She had forgotten about us. And our steaks were so grisly we couldn't even finish them. But I know that isn't the cooks fault, just a bad batch of steaks I guess. But my boyfriend asked for his medium rare, it came out well done.
This location is not understaffed.Took forever to get a drink refill.Ordered steak, was not cooked to order. Medium rare is not the same as well done.Watched some guests arrive and wait 20 to 30 minutes just be seen by a Waiter.My order did not match up to the pictured item in the menu. Meaning it was missing items. Guest serving for 3 waiters i was watching and bartender could use some major help.
We don’t go out often and with 5 kids it is extremely hard to go out and enjoy especially when service is slow or food comes out slow. The kids get antsy before we can just enjoy food. But last night was nothing short of outstanding. Kayla C was right there and was quick to getting us in and out but NOT rushed. The kitchen staff was also on point. Last night was our first time eating out as a family in two years due to my husbands long deployment and Kayla went out of her way to even take a family photo of us that will forever be cherished. Asheville Applebees has made it to the top of our list of places to eat and even being an hour away will make it a new occurrence just to travel here for family night! Yeah we got fancy like Applebee's. I forgot to get a picture of my Bourbon st Chicken and Shrimp with garlic mashed potatoes. No picture really needed. It's as good as it sounds. Hubby had my usual Quesadilla Burger. Love all their food.
My food was good. My boyfriend's fries were hard and he told the waiter but the waiter said he was sorry but didn't say anything else about can I get you more or something else.
Food was ok, pretty greasy! Too little staff for how full the restaurant was, poor waitress Very Frazzled, way too much for her to handle!
