Great food at a fair price, large menu, friendly staff, and a nice atmosphere with options for dining on the patio.
A friend walked into work the other day. I was giving him his lunch break. He sat in front of me, eating a cheese steak sub from Apollo Flame. I was seriously hungry afterwards. So without further ado, after work, I drove to the restaurant and promptly ordered a 12" cheese steak sub. They were out of fried mushrooms, so I got fried green beans as an appetizer. As I said, I was hungry. The green beans were crunchy and cooked well. The fries I received were a bit too crunchy as opposed to the beans. I'm not a fan of crunchy fries. But I still give Apollo Flame 5 Stars for the very fact, I got the order I was hungry for. Here's the kicker. I love mayo on my sandwich. I came with mayonnaise on the sub, but if indeed it was on it, I couldn't tell. But as I told my server, that's the first time I would admit I didn't mind not tasting the mayo. I also told her not to share that with my co-workers. I have a reputation to live up to.
Where do I start with this awful place!? When we arrived, the host went ahead of us and threw two menus on the table around the corner, then turned around and said nothing to welcome us. We ordered a bottle of wine, and it came to our table opened, which it should not have. The wine glasses were filthy and the waitress was upset when we asked for clean glasses. The food was bland and uninspired and our server never asked us what we thought about the food. When it came to check out, the employee was equally rude and did not ask us how the food was, preferring to take the next customer in line to pay. We live on the road full-time and eat out quite a bit, so this place was a grave disappointment. Find somewhere else to eat.
I went there for a celebration for a retirement party. The staff had a table set aside for our group by the waterfall. It was peaceful and out of the way for other patrons. Our server was great and attentative to our large party (10). The food was delicious as usual. We had a great time and it was very memorable for our friend as we sent her off into retirement. Thank you, Apollo Flame staff. ❤
Excellent gyro platter. The Greek salad was one of the best I've enjoyed. Extremely clean. Pleasant staff and good service.
Came at 2pm Saturday, the day before Mother's Day, as an unfamiliar stop heading home. What a nice surprise! Our waitress, from Mexico (sadly I can't remember her name), was VERY attentive. Her friendly smile and crisp personality helped to make this meal memorable. Three of us enjoyed the chef's pasta special, while our other friend had spaghetti with sausage. Only by taking half of our meals home were we able to find room for treats from the dessert case. Trust me, you'll want to save room! The cannoli cake, and the chocolate cake with strawberries, were shared by each couple. Very nice "meal of the day" to hold us all over for the balance of our drive home. Thank you for everything!
I have been a very long time customer. Sadly the service has been suffering. Called in a to-go order and was told it should be ready in 25 minutes. At 30 minutes was told it is not ready, we’ll call you when it’s done. At 60 minutes was rudely told “it’s not ready, that’s just the way it is, move out of the way” and then the head cashier laughed about it to the next customers. At an hour and 15 minutes it still wasn’t ready, but she told me to pick out a piece of cake for having to wait so long. But it’s still not ready. Meanwhile 20 to-go orders have been brought out that are not mine.
The food is amazing, most of the waitresses are amazing & friendly, but when you go to the register the lady with the long black hair & glasses is one of the rudest people you'll ever meet! She is either a boss or family to the actual owner of the place. My husband & I go there at least 4x a month faithfully & we just left today & he asked if they honor veteran discounts & she didn't even look at him, didn't answer him, nothing!!! We know they do but to be treated like we're peasants off the street?? NEVER!!! She seems to be there during the evenings & when she bothers to see a review of her behavior & unwanted snootiness maybe she'll treat her other customers better, since they are the hands that are feeding her!!! Very disappointed in her behavior & she'll know it next time we go in there. Her joint isn't the only one that throws spaghetti into a BOWL. How truly italian is that anyway i ask you. Everyone else are super nice, they care about your visit, advice would be to go when wretch is not there!!!
Really good food and the desserts are AMAZING! I have eaten here several times and it's good Greek food. The service is always friendly and helpful. What is exceptional is their desserts. A little pricey, but huge enough to share. We usually buy two and take them home for later.
LOVED THIS PLACE! I've never left a review for a restaurant, but this place was too good not to. The waitress was amazing, the service was great, and THE FOOD! I got the fettuccine Alfredo and it came with garlic bread and a salad. The salad was a good size, the garlic bread was the best garlic bread I've ever had, and the plate/bowl of Alfredo was much larger than I expected. I got full with half of a plate left, and for an amazing price. Most places that charge $10 for Alfredo will give you a small thing of it, but this place gives you a big ole portion. Would recommend to anyone! This place has restored my faith in humanity. Amazing. 10/10
