Owner and manager are really nice. New ordering system they have on their new website Zekos2.com makes ordering takeout way easier. Especially when everyone wants a diffrent stuff and makes the order complex.
I dont live in this city, but occasionally travel here for work. This is my go-to spot for a yummy bite when im in the area. Im not a fan of "chain pizza" at all, but I appreciate a good Mom & Pop pizza and one from Zeko's really fits the bill.When im traveling, I keep it simple and just get a pepperoni pizza. I like that the sauce seems simply flavored, just tomato sauce seems simply flavored so its not competing with other elements. The crust is PERFECT. In fact, i could probably be pretty happy just eating a plain crust, lol; really hits that internal comfort zoneRating is 4 stars only because I haven't had a dine-in experience.
If I could give this place 0 stars I would have. We’ve been ordering here for years and it’s hit or miss really. The people who answer the phones are incompetent and can’t get your order right. Every single time we have to have them repeat it back to us several times before it’s correct. It’s ALWAYS over a hour and half to have your food delivered sometimes 2 hours. Today my issue was the ranch was hot like it hasn’t been refrigerated in days with chunks in it and tasted awful. We called and spoke to the manager who tried to argue with me and got all flustered because I said I would need a refund or fresh food because we had already waited a hour and half on this anyway and we’re not going to eat hot wings without ranch. By the time the new ranch arrived, all of our food would be cold. We might be picky but we paid $45 for 10 wings, 1 sub, and an order of chips and at that price, it should be good and FRESH. This was the last straw, we won’t be back. There are a lot more places in Asheboro worthy of business.
I've lived in Asheboro area for 30+ years and only recently have I tried this place! It was so good ?. I have been twice now and ordered take out each time, so I can't speak to the service or restaurant atmosphere, but the spaghetti is so very good!! The Stromboli has a good flavor, but filled with mainly cheese and light on the meat.
Best hot wings ever. And deep fried mushrooms so good. Great service. One of my favorite places to eat.
I ordered buffalo tenders and cheese fries. The delivery order was $26.00! The food was horrible and they gave no ketchup. When I called to tell them I requested the ketchup three times when I ordered the manager started yelling at me! Wow! Horrible food and customer service and prices way too high!
When I first moved to Asheboro I went here and was very dissatisfied. Fast forward to a few years down the road and I gave them another chance today. It was once again no better. The wings were over cooked and I had to be refunded for part of my order because on a pickup order I just didn’t get some of it. The pizza is bland and mediocre. The pasta is also pretty bland. It’s not “bad” food per say, but it’s just all over cooked or bland. There is better Italian in Asheboro.
Great place to eat excellent server named Jennifer and very delicious food would recommend this place to anybody, Jennifer the server is very respectful and a joy to be around
Sadly this place has gone down hill tremendously. For example, two weeks ago I ordered 2 pasta dishes to be delivered. Pasta comes with side salads. We asked that they have only lettuce, cucumbers & add cheese. It seriously took 4 deliveries to get it right. Not to mention my order was repeated 2X by myself & back to myself 2X also. The guy that was answering phones immediately called back my order when I called back to let them know about the mistake. Obviously it’s a BOH issue. Still great food & nice workers. Just frustrating sometimes. ESP when you want to eat the salad before the meal.
