The staff here at the East Dixie Drive Zaxby's have to be the best! I've been frequenting this location for a little over a year now. At the beginning, still under pandemic restrictions, their dining room was of course closed, and staff was at a miserable 2 to 3 -maybe- at any given time; these staff members, whether still there or not, and the ones that are currently there, have been put through the wringer by rotten customers. I work right next door, and not once in the year have I ever had one issue from them. Always polite, honest, and doing the absolute best they could with what circumstances had been thrust upon them. I commend this locations team effort and will be seeing you for lunch!!
Very slow service and customer service definitely not there, they hire little kids who don’t know what responsibility is and bring their friends to hangout with them at work. Girl walked outside looked at the drive-thru line and was dancing around saying “why we always busy” smfhHOPE THIS GETS TO HIGHER MANAGEMENT THAT CAN DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT.
DO NOT USE ONLINE ORDERING TO SKIP THE LINE. This establishment follows a different procedure for processing online orders. If you're brave enough to take a chance, you'll need to go through the line to let the kitchen know you've arrived and you're ready for them to prep your order. This doesn't work so well in rush hour, though. Worse, if they mess up your online order, the store will not issue the refund. You'll have to deal with customer service from a third party company that processes their online orders...a terribly inconvenient ordeal over a $20 order. If they could figure out customer service, the food is good.

This place is so disgusting! My daughter worked there for two weeks and they paid her for one week with no over time !! She had Previous worked the first week with over time !! Kaylee told my wife she get another check with the over time . She got a 7.00 check ! We are reporting this company! Be aware !!!!!!!!!! The kaylee girl told my wife they ripped her off because owner told her too. Be aware !!!!!
Just picked up a House Salad. It doesn't have any children on it. 8.69 seems high for a salad with no meat.
I think because I worked here when they opened back in 2006, I have some different expectations of Zaxby’s in Asheboro. I understand staffing is short, I understand longer wait times due to cooking the chicken, and I even understand getting orders wrong occasionally. Because this place means so much to me, I make it a point to come every time I’m in Asheboro, which is only 1-2 times a year. Today’s experience was pretty horrible, I must say. I gave more than a 1 star because the food was still good. However, it took us 25 minutes to get our order after we placed it. My husband’s order was incorrect, and our sodas were all flat. If you haven’t called Coke yet and told them you need a new CO2 tank and a refill on basically every soda, please do so ASAP. The floors were so sticky, and the bathrooms were dirty and had no paper towels or toilet paper. Again, I don’t think my expectations are too high since I worked here, but this would have never flown when I worked there. In fact, I was told that I had to have all orders out within 2 minutes at the drive thru and my manager told me that if “I had time to lean, I had time to clean.”… If you’re the same owner that was there when I got hired, please come visit and work your magic because I’m afraid this location won’t be open much longer if you don’t. We will give you another shot next Summer. Please improve your conditions.
Used to be one of my favorite restaurants. It has declined horribly! I know everyone is looking for help but they can't get an order right to save their lives! Over and over and over they get it wrong and if you try to go through the drive through you need to block off at least a half an hour to do so. I'm so disappointed in the place and have no idea how they are still in business. Prices used to reflect the quality and service and it is absolutely overpriced now.
Dining room closed. Food was good but they didn't have the cheddar bites I came there for specifically but still good. Nice staff.
Food cold wings refried after sitting service slow fry's where super cold they did replace them so that was nice I guess but do your self a favor and go eat ANYWHERE but here.
