Found a piece of wood on the first bite of my pizza, 1inch piece easily, then when confronted the "owner" lies and claims he's out of town and suddenly, he admits its him. Guy thinks he's big and bad to boot, don't worry bud, we'll see who has the last laugh.Edit: forgot to mention that it was "the works" pizza, it was soggy as can be and absolutely bland and disgusting for the single bite i took, the only flavor was from the wood that shouldn't have been there in the first place. Offered a free pizza in return but when told "why would i want your nasty pizza again" he got nasty and rude instead of being reasonable, i'm from NY as well and this place is an absolute disgrace to claim it's NY style or anything close. go to Medo's, they atleast make decent pizza and italian food.
It was wonderful, went in for lunch and got the two slice special, meat lovers Chicago style, and BBQ chicken (first time trying). Both were amazing, and great value for the price.
This is one of the WORST places in town. Ordered pizza and my son's first bite had a piece of wood in it!!! "Famous" garlic knots were like eating a brick they were so hard. Called them to complain and the owner lied about who he was and then proceeded to curse me out because of his disgusting food!!!
Traveling gig worker. I eat here personally from time to time as well.Very friendly staff. Good people as well.Order accuracy has been excellent. Can't say I recall any personal or delivery orders needing correction.Food quality is great imo.Timely, prompt service times even at peak hours.I never give 5 stars as nowhere deserves it. Think about it.
The gluten free pizza was very tasty! The staff were very careful when I mistakenly ordered breaded eggplant they came to let me know and asked if I wanted to remove it. Much appreciated
While the place doesn't necessarily carry the look of a 5 star restaurant the quality of the food and overall friendliness of the staff will have you coming back every time. I had their gnocchi special and was able to see they made all the food from scratch. It was delicious! The cashier and Waitress who took care of our table were extremely nice and patient, because I was there with a restless 4 year old. They were nothing but smiles and great customer service. This place is definitely a diamond in the rough.Features: They follow covid safety standards, and have updated their ever reducing restrictions accordingly. So no mask is required by patrons unless they feel the need to wear one.
I am from New Jersey and just recently moved down to NC. Where i am from, the italian food is second to none. I was disappointed with the pizza from this place the last time I got food here. It took me a couple months to build up the courage to try it again. Well, I am glad I did. I ordered a stromboli this time around because I have yet to find a place that has a good stromboli in asheboro. I got a medium and it was the size of most places large. It had perfect cheese to meat ratio. I am blown away that these things have been hiding right under my nose this whole time. By far the best stromboli in town and don't let anyone else try to say otherwise because they are lying. I will be trying their pizza again solely because their stromboli is ?
We had a great experience at here this afternoon! The inside of the place isn't the fanciest, but I'm so glad we gave it a try! I have celiac disease so eating in restaurants is a gamble and the staff here was FANTASTIC. They were super careful, cleaned surfaces, and took far more care than most places I've been. I tried the gluten free crust and it was thin and crispy and delicious! Best of all, I was able to enjoy a pizza with my family and I didn't get sick!! They really went above and beyond. They even came out to our table and asked about an ingredient they weren't sure about. My family had a regular Works pizza and really enjoyed it. They said it was delicious, great crust and lots of toppings. Also they ordered a cup of Ranch for $3 and got a LITERAL CUP OF RANCH. It was huge. More Ranch than any human should eat lol. They said it was delicious as well. We took the rest home for salads. Anyway, definitely a good experience.
Been longing for NY style pizza being from up north and I'm telling you this place is as close enough! Will say...and not talking bad of it because it's good....the chicken bacon ranch pizza would be amazing more if added more ranch or white sauce to it. Just my opinion but def a 5 star to me!
Our first visit was great, friendly crew greeted me, got alot of food for the money, The sauce for the pizza rolls is amazing and it was great finally being able to get a cold sub somewhere and it was fantastic!
