I had their St. Peter’s Fish, one of the house specialties. I’m from the FL coast and would typically avoid ordering fish somewhere that’s hundreds of miles from the coast. It was a delicious, light, white fish! The veggie combo that it’s served on was excellent (tomatoes, mushrooms, onions, green peppers). I also ordered a baked potato, which was a little undercooked. Not enough to mention to my server, but not what I had hoped for. The restaurant is in a strip mall and has zero ambiance, but the people were super nice and food was good. I’d go there again if in the area.
Came here with my family from out of town after visiting the asheboro zoo, the service was fast and perfect! We ordered the salmon, ribs crab cake, ribs and the bacon cheese fries; best food we’ve had in a long time ! 10/10 recommend! Can’t wait to come back and eat here again
Nice atmosphere, Great and friendly service, only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is the steak and cheese I ordered was sort of bland. I will definitely be back to try some of the other appealing options I saw in the menu regardless though.
Prices are a bit ridiculous both for the portion sizes and the quality of the food. Girlfriend ordered a steak and cheese. It was essentially a fajita on pita bread with the lowest quality steak possible for $15. I ordered a ribeye steak and potatoes for $26, the steak was blue, I asked rare not mooing. Steak was chock full of gristle that I had to pick out of my teeth for the rest of the evening. Potatoes were soggy, bland and came with green peppers for some reason. Salads that came with meals were a bit depressing too with a single grape tomato on each and the smallest amount of dressing possible. On top of all that, the service was bad despite there being around 10 staffers wandering around the dining room. My drink was refilled exactly once before food arrived and I left thirsty. You'd be better off eating at literally any diner in town
Unfortunately the food definitely did not match the atmosphere. Beautiful place but, food is way overpriced for what you get. Very disappointed in what they call a salad one tomato, lettuce and cheese. Quality of steak was terrible and dry. Potatoes were not seasoned at all and tasted as if they had been setting for awhile.
I came here from out of town. After several area restaurants being too busy or requiring reservations, I stumbled across this place. Oh man…was I so glad I did!! I don’t normally do this, but I was so happy with the experience, I had to! The staff was so friendly, attentive and patient. The food was out of this world! (I highly recommend the Charleston and the volcano cake?) I was so pleased with this dining experience, I wish I could have given ten stars ❤️❤️
We once had a bad experience here, rude service, but had went back recently and it was great, so we decided to go again. This time, lots of hair in my quesadilla, but just 1 it was about 3. I did not eat, and waited a very long time for the waitress to come neck. Once I told her there was hair in my food, she looked at me like I had done something wrong. No apology, can I get you something else, nada. When to pay and they still charged me for the side salad that came with the meal and drink. We paid and left, won't be back.
The person over the phone and manager at the front were really nice when we ordered and picked up our takeout. I asked the person what's the most popular and recommended dish and she said "The Charleston". I consider myself a foodie since I've travelled lots and eaten a lot of different foods. So overall for me the dish was average. There was nothing that really stood out but I did appreciate the quick service.
savour every bite. top shelf service and cusine.
We really enjoy using Yelp to find independent restaurants when we are traveling. This one is take it or leave it. The vegetarian pita left a lot to be desired, and was not served warm, as advertised. The chicken tenders were served hot although they were clearly premade. The mashed potatoes were great. The coleslaw was an edible, mostly mayonnaise with just a bit of cabbage. The menu online is outdated, the Brownie we called to order was no longer offered, nor is the yelp check in offer being advertised honored any longer. Service was friendly, and fast, and was courteous asking if we needed silverware for our take-out order.
