We ate here June 3. Ordered Calzone for the first time, a large, hamburger, meatball, cheese. It was huge. We ate half and plan to eat the other half tomorrow. We also ordered bread sticks for the first time. Both items were served "out of the oven hot". Both were wonderful. We eat here a couple of times a month, usually. We enjoy the eggplant lasagna, eggplant manicotti, and meat lasagna. Stromboli, steak special, is also very good. We have a hard time deciding what we want to eat.The restaurant is on the end of a small shopping center across from the hospital. I think Medo's started as a take-out only restaurant. They added a fairly large dining room next to the original. There are booths and tables. We generally eat at off times because we can, and we have never had to wait for a table. The outside is a bit dated. Don't let that fool you. If you are looking for a place to enjoy hot, delicious pizza, calzones, lasagna, stromboli etc., you really should give Medo's a try.
Went by today to get something to eat. Was told server would be with us soon. Guy came out to take drink order. Waited and no one came. We got up to leave. Seemed like all help was outside when we left. No one else was in restaurant. Do not plan on going back.
Salad was old, iceberg bag salad mix, inedible. The garlic bread was freezer burned. Eggplant with manicotti came with spaghetti, no manicotti. Not the worst place I've ever been to, but close.
Stromboli is probably one of the best in the area. We had our orders taken and finished within a normal amount of time.
I ordered a new york stromboli. It had bologna instead of salami. It did not have tomatoes or Italian seasoning like the menu said. Small cup of sauce that tastes like ketchup. My boyfriend ordered spaghetti and meatballs. It was watery and only three meatballs. Garlic bread was terrible. He said the sauce tastes like ketchup. Can't wait to never go back there again.
Horrible...Pizza sauce was sweeter than most Italian Pastries, meatballs tasted like they came from a can. The stromboli has regular deli ham and tasteless salami and was soggy with cheese.
Really good waitress and food. Breadsticks, cheesecake, eggplant lasagna were delicious. Stromboli was enormous and very good.
I stopped ordering from here 1 1/2 years ago because of how bad the food and service were and how sketchy the delivery people. I just called 3 times to try to order delivery and the girl on the phone is so zoned out she can barely talk. I gave up. I don't know how they stay open.
Ordered 2 chicken Alfredo got my chicken super burnt the sauce is not good it tasted super old . I call to complain and the manager had her employee talk instead of her talk to me and I asked if I would take it back if she could give me another one and she said no I had to pay full price worst place ever and they have lost my business. In response to your comment about keeping the food. Why are you lying i told the employee's I would gladly take it to you and you said no you have to pay full price for your replacement. So you can try to lie all you want my husband has worked in a restaurant longer than you guys have been in business. An he said it himself that the way the food was sent out was unacceptable.
I walked in and they told me I could have my service if she tucked under a table. Then the owner came out and refused to service us at all. He and his employees would not stop gawking at my dog and saying I would love to bring his dog but he couldn't.....hello guy your dog is a pet mine is a service dog. This was the worst experience ever and we will never eat medos again!
