cute place in downtown asheboro. latte wasn’t anything spectacular but i didn’t get a signature! those may be better.

A touch of chic and coffeeI've heard of this coffee joint that recently opened however haven't been able to indulge quite yet due to their opening time of 7am. By then I'm usually clocked in at work and putting some notes in.However on this fine day, I overslept my alarm and was like "I could go for a real good cup of coffee, but tbh there's not much of that in Asheboro." I recalled being told that Bold serves a mean cup and it's quite different compared to the commercialized places in Asheboro.I grabbed my uniform, made sure my hair looked aight and headed on over.Upon walking in, you're greeted with such an array of sayings and wonderous smells that allure you to step in further. The simple minimalist design that's inside really suits the small space that's here however it feels very open and as if it's saying "come one come all".After chatting with the barista (didn't get her name) and checking out the menu, I found the coffee that truly had my attention, The Abominable.I'm a simple man when it comes to coffee. I love salted caramel and I enjoy iced coffees or cold brews. This checked those boxes and I also found out they have a small partnership with the Asheboro popcorn company and get bagels made from them to sell in their location.Having asked for a toasted blueberry bagel with cream cheese, all there was to do was allow the barista to work. While waiting I was able to go through their menu listings, their items for sale and really take a good look at the location and enjoy the time and care it took to creating this location.Once I grabbed my goods and headed out, I set for work and sat in my sad car and finally had a chance to take a taste of the art I'd received from Bold.Truly I didn't want to drink the coffee just because it was artistically beautiful and really taken with care, but alas having only 3 hours of sleep, I needed a bit of a kick. And a kick is just what I got.The flavour allure that danced on my tongue was as if the coffee caramel combo had physically decided to break dance battle in my mouth and yet it was so soothing.I was in shock that the flavor contained everything except 1 thing the big commercial locations have. It didn't taste like overcooked or burnt beans. It was staggering just how delicious it was and yet in my own backyard of Asheboro. The bagel truly matched this formula with a satisfying ASMR crunch from the bagel and cream cheese that complimented the blueberries very well!I'm still surprised by the flavors from both the coffee and bagel. Both of which were landmarks in my mind for what my taste buds have been needing. There's a lot of love and attention to detail at this location and I truly hope it's around for awhile. While I was only 30 minutes late for work, I may need to sleep in other days just to get some good coffee to get me through my day.Check this place out yourself, and taste the love and affection that separate Bold from the quick shops.

We hired Bold Coffee Co. for a coffee cart at our wedding. Morgan was SO easy to work with, SUPER friendly, and just all around amazing! The coffee was fantastic, and our guests absolutely loved it! Very reasonably priced! Hiring Morgan and team was probably THE BEST single decision we made for our wedding day. Thank you Morgan!!

This is hands down the best cup of coffee I’ve ever had in my life. They are sourcing their beans from a local private grower in the USA. It’s more clean and natural than the coffee we can buy online or in the grocery stores. Stop here before you go to the North Carolina zoo if you are visiting from out of town. Get a large to sip on while you’re walking around the park and you will feel incredible!I wish I could buy a monthly subscription for this coffee. It’s been an investment in my personal productivity.

Caroline made my drink perfectly, it was delicious! She was very pleasant. The atmosphere is very welcoming I will definitely come back soon!

I guess I’ll be the first to post my not so 5 star opinion, the shop is super cute and the drinks are great but the owner Morgan is not very welcoming. I’ve been in multiple times and debated on even posting a review. I walked in and was the only customer in there, the girl who helped me behind the counter was the sweetest and tried to keep asking Morgan questions, she was buried in her phone the entire time and the employee had to repeatedly say her name to get her attention. It seemed more of an inconvenience to her that I asked about two of the drinks on the menu before I placed my order. Maybe I caught her on a bad day but it’s unfortunate that business owners act as if you are bothering them when asking questions.

A recent favorite of mine. Located conveniently close to the highway but also in downtown, it’s my go to when getting a coffee before hitting the road

I ordered a strong black coffee with a shot of espresso. The coffee was very sour. It was not prepared correctly. The service and ambience were nice though. Thank you for looking at the review!

Fantastic coffee. Fast and friendly service. Very relaxing vibes.
