This was the best seafood I’ve had since I left home. The shrimp were large, well seasoned and fresh, and the green beans were delicious. My husband had the fried flounder and fried okra and they were both excellent. Prices are right and the customer service was on point. We’ll be back!!
Do not miss out on this place! The food was so good and fresh. We ordered the wings platter which was packed with breaded and fried wings that were crispy and juicy. My son chose Mac & cheese and seasoned fries as his sides and raved about both. I ordered the bang bang shrimp platter and they were crazy delicious! Generous sized shrimp, lightly breaded and fried, tossed in a great tasting sauce. The yams are awesome and I honestly can’t wait to try all their other sides. We will definitely be back again!
If you have been waiting on a place that will give you an awesome plate of home cooked food in the Apex area, you have found it! I had the turkey bbq and mom had the fried flounder with greens, potato salad, and slaw. The fish was seasoned and cooked to perfection and all the sides seasoned well. All of it was great to include the customer service! Can't wait to go back!
The Food was fresh and delicious. The establishment is clean , staff is super friendly and welcoming, and the food is beyond amazing. I ordered to-go during their busy hours, and still didn’t have a long wait time which was great. The Shrimp is my favorite! Can’t wait to go back! :)
Wonderful menu, great food. Outstanding customer service . Love the atmosphere inside the restaurant. Fish and shrimp were delicious or as a friend of mine would say (Melicious). This will not be my last time stopping here
The fried Okra was amazing. The fish was cooked to perfection. Staff was warm and friendly. I will definently make this a place a permanent spot to eat.
What can I say?Chicken wings were seasoned but definitely over cooked and hard. Collards were sweet and bland. Yams needed butter, way less cinnamon, vanilla extract, and sugar.Fish was just plain disgusting, coleslaw was disgusting.This place honestly needs to revisit their recipes and try again. Customer service is horrible and the young man answering the phone has no clue of what is being sold and what isn’t being sold.Also, how can you have a fish sandwich and not have a bun, sandwich bread or something. This place is a joke and a disgrace for a so called fish place.
I would recommend this place. I’m in town working this week, and looking for a place to eat, and this popped up on Google. With good reviews I decided to try it. Not disappointed at all. I got the flounder and was very good. Hush puppies, fries, and rice was very good too. I’ll be back next week and will plan a night to go there again. Thanks for a great meal.
Came here to grab dinner while my daughter was at dance thanks to a rec from a friend. I was SO impressed by the quality!! The Turkey BBQ meal was just as good as The Pitt in Raleigh and the collards were perfect. My daughter loved the kids fish nuggets meal and green beans. We will be coming back with the whole family soon. We desperately needed a good quality BBQ place in Apex and I hope this one is here to stay. Tell everyone you know lol!!
This is the real deal - fresh, delicious and made with love. We will definitely become regulars. I had the flounder, slaw and macaroni and cheese. I'm glad the cashier mentioned the strawberry cake...mmmmmm. The cake didn't even survive the ride home. Stop in. You won't be disappointed.
