I have assumed this sandwich empire had gone defunct since the Raleigh locations disappeared. Their bread holds the key to the distinctive YUM (umami?) of their fare. Discovered one remains in Apex, and it'll be a drive, but I will go. Anyone who hasn't experienced the Schlotzsky's difference should, and will definitely return soon.Today I discoveredtoday

We had our girls get together here again yesterday and they are doing a remodel of the store. It really is starting to look inviting. Outside of the much needed remodel the food and service has always been outstanding and this visit did not disappoint. The blond manager helped us with our order and my friend with her App. She was very helpful and sweet. Get their Fiesta Chicken or their Original, both are delicious sandwiches,

I used to frequent one in VA Beach before moving and this location, which I happened upon while on a trip, didn't disappoint. I got The Classic on jalapeño cheese bread and couldn't have asked for a better sandwich.

This location is phenomenal. The owner is the kindest man and treats his employees and guests well. Eat here rather than another sandwich place.

This place is so amazing and awesome. Their sandwiches are so good. I love the sourdough bread and I always have a bottle of their hot sauce at home. My favorite place in Apex!

I eat here often and typically everything is great. This last two my sandwich bread wasn't completely done and the sandwich was dripping liquid for some reason. Not sure what happened as the food is typically good here. Maybe just a fluke

With a name like Schlotzskys and pictures of sandwiches piled high with cold cuts, I looked forward to finally having at least a small taste of an old school deli sandwich. The joke was on me. I haven't seen a pastrami and swiss that skimpy and sad in a very long time. And what kind of bun are they serving these things on? The jalapeno bun was some form of flat disk??? I had no idea what this was supposed to be?!Live and learn. If you want a real sandwich, go to a mom/pop deli. As for Schlotzskys save your hard earned cash for a real sandwich elsewhere. Hell, Arby's fresh market sandwiches blow these out of the water and that's not saying much. Not worth your time or money.

On my work lunch break I placed an online order to avoid the busy drive thru, I walk up and a pink sign on the door says clear as day that 3rd party and online pick ups can come inside. So after walking in the door I was told not to come in and had to wait in the drive thru anyways even though my meal was already paid for.

Always great food i wish there was more locations, never disappointed. Clean calm enviroment.

Haven't been there in years.. very good sandwiches..the only complaint i have is the turkey sandwich was a little salty..
