Definitely one of my favorite coffee places in Downtown Apex (and far better coffee / food than the place across from it). Good place to meet for a quick breakfast or coffee with friends. Has outdoor seating and also some cute indoor seating, which is actually pretty nice for the Downtown area.
We spontaneously had lunch here today, I immediately liked the menu but kind of had to persuade my husband - he had the Hammy Jammy sandwich and I had the Avocado toast with bacon and egg. I had envisioned a soft boiled egg and crunchy bacon bits on top of the Avocado Toast. ( like it is being promoted online) I was utterly disappointed by 2 slices overloaded with bacon chunks, undercooked, soggy and basically more than 50% greasy, white fat cubes, topped by 2 thin slices of hard boiled egg. I was disgusted and in order to at least be able to eat, removed a pile of the fat pieces. My husband wasn’t blown away either, he thought his sandwich was unexpectedly spicy.I informed the staff and they tried to offer me an alternative meal option, but a bowl with frozen fruit, didn’t seem appealing to me at this point. Needless to say, we won’t be back.
Avocado toast was overpriced and lacked flavor. It just looked sad. Coffee was fine and so was the service. The atmosphere is very millennial
I'd never been here before last week and now I've been here twice lol! This is a cool little spot right in the middle of downtown Apex. Both times I've been here have been on Sundays. It was easy to find a parking spot on the street both times.I came here last week because Google told me they had smoothies. When I looked at their menu, I was delighted to see they so serve Açaí! That's a win/win for me!The place itself is small, but there are plenty of seats inside as well as outside. They have a shop on the side that offers shirts, and other sundries.I ordered the PB and Jammin as well as the Conquer the Day smoothie. Both were fantastic! My son tried a bowl for the first time and he loved it!The bowls are pricey, but the portions are big. They fill the bowls up past the top, so I feel like you definitely get your moneys worth. All the staff members I met so far were great! I definitely recommend giving this place a try!
I'm giving 3 because of the service. The food is AMAZING. My review is not based on one experience this is EVERY time I have been inside which is 4 times in the past month or so. Every time I have ordered I have been treated differently whether I am standing longer than others just waiting to be acknowledged when it wasn't very busy. When my order is done I have not been addressed by my name but every other person before and after me is called by name. I did notice that once while there a few weeks ago another customer who happened to be a minority was not called by name either. After today I said I would give them one more try because the food is freshly made and my girls love the little desserts. I do hope it gets better next visit and moving forward.
Open, welcoming and friendly: just what a local coffee spot should be. I appreciate the 8 ounce options as the flavor is usually best in smaller quantities. The staff is competent and focused. It’s easy to see why the shop is always full and full of cheer!
Best choice for acai bowls in the area. Great avocado toast and sandwiches. Their lattes are amazing. Prices a bit high and often busy but you can order ahead for pick up through website. Cute unique gifts for sale also. Limited seating and parking downtown has gotten increasingly worse the past couple of years so often lately I can’t find anywhere to park nearby. Best option is to go with 2 people when picking up order so driver can circle the block while passenger runs in to pick up order.
Wonderful atmosphere, great panini's, bowls, and more! And of course the coffee!
Have visited multiple times already in the last few months. Great coffee, cozy ambience, nice view of the main road, delicious eats…. All in one to be found at this cafe.
Nice comfortable cozy place for coffee! Very friendly staff?
