I was skeptical of a mega-chain steakhouse but my "birthday boy" and I truly enjoyed our steaks. Honestly, they were perfectly seasoned and cooked. The salad was very tasty - and a bargain at $1.50 (lunch menu). Gary the waiter was right on his game. My only criticism is the HEAPS of trash in the parking lot. There are containers, cans, broken glass bottles, BAGS of tied off fast food, cigarette buts galore, gum wads on the sidewalk. I almost did not step inside the restaurant.PS - I had not read the reviews beforehand and am seeing that there were roaches seen here recently? :( NOT good. Area exterminators are very competitive and reasonably priced.)
Nice and friendly atmosphere! Was able to get a seat as a walk-in within minutes. The steak was delicious, and the rice pilaf seasoned perfectly to compliment the cut. Definitely one of the better kitchens for Longhorn.
Can we talk about Chris, please? Cute, calm, cheerful and cool can't describe how this guy is the perfect ambassador for Longhorn Steakhouse in Apex. Did I mention that it was Mother's Day too?! He greeted me kindly before I even went in to order. Despite the massive crowd, he took my order promptly, then offered me a yummy glass of lemonade while I waited. Chris's smile was swoon worthy as he handed me my food 15 minutes later, then graciously walked over to the doors to escort me out, as the cashier waved goodbye. My steak, rice pilaf and broccoli were all cooked perfectly. If you want to be treated like a VIP, head to this location for a great experience, and wonderful food.
The Mrs. and I went for Sunday lunch a few weeks ago. We had not been here since they opened and the only reason we visited was we had a gift card. We were pleasantly surprised. The Mrs. ordered the Sirloin with a baked potato and side Cesar salad. I ordered the steak sandwich. We also got the mushrooms in cheese as an appetizer which was the highlight for me. Totally exceeded our expectations. Place was mobbed with customers before we left which was a good sign. Service was very pleasant and attentive even during busy lunch hours.
The three of us went out for dinner on Wednesday night. Our server was Erin. She was so polite and helpful. She kept checking on us to see if we needed anything. Our dinner was delicious! The manager even stopped by to check on us. Erin was so sweet throughout our entire meal. We had such a fabulous time at Longhorn tonight. We will be back soon! Great food and wonderful service!
Celebrating our one year anniversary. The porterhouse steak is great. They also have the best French Onion Soup. Well, it may be a 2-way tie with Outback.
I ordered the Ribeye medium rare.It was an amazing steak that was cooked perfectly. This is my favorite place in town for steak. I will definitely be returning. Great server too . Very attentive and very helpful . Great restaurant.
We were there on Christmas eve, which first of all is a night not many places open, at least not after 6pm. We were received warmly and the waitress was an absolute trooper. I feel awful that I forgot her name now, but she was an older lady and she was great! They had many tables seated but not many servers for them so I think she was handling quite a bit but like I said, she was an absolute trooper. Glasses were refilled, bar drinks were brought in a timely manner, food was correct and on-point, not a single mistake... and we were a table of adults and 4 kids. I was impressed, grateful, and amazed at the same time. She definitely earned that place its 5 star rating from me.
Steak was slightly undercooked but that could be a preference. Food was hot, wait staff was polite and courteous. Waiter didnt flirt with my date always a better tip that way. ?
I like this place so much, they are really good. The food was delicious and big portions, so we packed it with ourselves. The stuff was great , they celebrated my husband with birthday and gave the dessert to him, in was really nice. I strongly recommend this place for visiting
