First time visited Apex La Ranch restaurant with my colleague. Of course Mexican food is my favorite when it comes to burritos, fish grills with avocado, mushroom and salad. Today we had a enjoyable Lunch in the restaurant and stroll around this small downtown with plenty of car parking space along the road.
Tasty spot!I took my daughter here because she loves tacos and cheese dip. We had both!The place is easy to find. We parked on the main road and walked there since it was a nice day.Inside was clean and we were seated quickly. The cheese dip was super good and our favorite. My daughter had chicken nachos and I had spicy beef. Had to take a bite before the picture lol!Our waiter was great- fast and attentive. We'll definitely be returning.
Seated right away on a Saturday evening. Super friendly waiter and great service. Good chips, salsa, cheese, and guacamole. Margaritas were huge and really good. Everything ordered tasted great. I thought the grilled veggies were a bit burned, but it didn't ruin the meal. Appreciated that the Alambres (meal w/bacon and cheese) wasn't drenched in grease like it normally is in other places. Would definitely return.
Went to downtown Apex. And wanted some tasty food. Came to the best possible spot Apparently. We wanted some delicious Mexican and boy did this place deliver.The salsa may be the best I’ve had in a while and the guacamole was very creamy and delicious.I got the ACP, the rice was insanely delicious.The service is also great. I highly recommend this spot.Go here!
Been here so many times whenever we have cravings for great Mexican food and it never disappoints. The other half ordered the King Ranch burrito. His words: "steak is well seasoned, charred just right". Agree!I had the ACP trio with steak, chicken, and shrimp. Huge portions, flavorful as always. Stop by if you're ever in Downtown Apex.
The Ambiance is cool. It is a fun place to hang out with friends. I ordered the quesa birria tacos. They weren't that great. They lacked flavor and the meat was dried out. The avocado sauce that it came with was tangy and a bit too much. I don't think they did the tacos justice. However, the soup that it came with was really good. I love the flavor it was nicely made. That was my favorite part of the meal. They make a nice margarita. It was flavored nicely and strong. It wasn't too sweet either.
Very good Mexican food! We frequent this place often as it's one of the few cuisines my toddler will eat. They are always so kind when we come in. Plus, they put out the food really quickly (big plus with a child in tow) without sacrificing quality. Please given them a try! Keep up the good work!
We experienced HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE on 1/24/2022! Not only did we wait OVER 15 minutes at the hostess desk, we had to walk to the back to finally get someone’s attention that we were dining there and waiting. There were only two guests in the entire restaurant which makes the waiting even more ridiculous. The woman asked how many and we stated three, she still only grabbed two menus walked away to a booth and threw the menus onto the table. We truly tried to ignore that disrespectful behavior but the waiter also added to the experience by spilling the melted cheese plate into lap, on my glass and onto the table (ONLY the cheese sauce was hot, the rest of our food was cold) when it arrived with not even an apology, leaving me to clean myself up as well as the table. I have never had such disgusting customer service for a bill that was WELL over $100! When I asked to speak to the manager, the waiter said “ He’s not here, One Hour.” After service like that why would we wait an addition hour to speak to a manager? I hope that manager sees this review so I can be contacted personally, as I will Never dine or recommend this establishment again.
It's your classic American style Mexican restaurant, but it's delicious and the staff is super nice.We mostly get to go, but it's always ready on time and the portions are fantastic.Drop by, order, then peruse the local Apex shops while waiting!
Great food and service…guacamole was amazing, salsa was great too. Chorizo-pollo tacos and the bowls are fantastic.
