A real surprise, JDs' food selection is not the typical bar food, they do have typical bar food but their selection is much better. The staff is attentive and friendly too. I plan to add it to my list of eateries to visit.
Good food!
Food was so so. The menu we found online was much bigger than what was offered but we did just go for lunch. I saw a short rib sandwich online that was what made us go there and this was not on their menu in the establishment. My kids enjoyed the wings and the beer selection was nice. I got the French dip and only ate 2 bites as I did not like it at all. The service was good and there was no wait or issue with finding parking.
Mediocre food at high prices. Ordered the lunch special and asked if I could get it on a wrap instead of the bun. Waitress said no problem. When bill came it was significatly higher than the advertised special. Waitress said it was because I ordered a wrap instead of the sandwich and they are two completely different things!? Ridiculous to do that for a $.05 tortilla that costs less than the cost of a bun, but you should obviously inform someone in advance if they are going to be charged higher than the advertised price.
First time visit, friendly and engaging staff. Baxter our server was wonderful. Really enjoyed " The Naked Baker" potatoes. A well presented and delicious take on potatoes.
The food was great! It took about 45 minutes for our food to come to the table but it was very good. Everything else not so much. Tables were dirty with dishes that had not been cleared. Our server, K**** didn't seem to care whether we actually dined there or not and actually seemed bothered to have to wait on my husband and myself. We went in on a Sunday around 2 pm and they weren't busy so I'm not sure what the problem was. However, no matter how good the food is, it's not worth being ignored or treated as if you don't matter. We can spend our money anywhere, and if JD's doesn't want it, there are a dozen other similar places that do want it.
GAME TIME! Ready for this UNC-DUKE matchup....Oh right, the food is really good here. Especially the nachos and wings. Have to keep my sunglasses on; just in case my HEELS go down.....
I honestly want to say that it was truly a waste of my time. I went on Saturday night and once I was seated no one came and took a drink order or anything. The staff just kept passing me by like I was invisible. I waited almost 30 minutes just to see if anyone would come to my table for assistance but nothing. The sad thing is that I heard great things about this place but it was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had. I definitely will not be going back and now that I have calmed down management will be hearing from me today. My opinion 0 stars because their service is horrible
Good food and good drinks
So yummy! I’ve been twice in a week! Everything I’ve tried has been amazing! Fast service! The food also comes out fast!
