This was my first and definately my last time to come here..we came just around noon the place was empty but there was a wait time and told us to wait 20min which we wete okay with we just 2 people though honestly we ended up waiting for 35min and had to go back to the front counter to ask again.. then wait another 30min for food remember this place was practically empty, i wonder how they would operate with a full house..It was raining heavy outside so we could not just drive away..They did even get our order right after waiting that long. The food meeeh..Not worth it at all!!
Worst customer service ever, staff forced to sit us in the bar area even though we asked to sit in the dining area. The waitress gave us an attitude along with the greeter, the waitress made us feel uncomfortable and kept on dropping boxes for our table even though we didn't ask for them. If people have a religious or personal reason to not sit in the bar area then you the wait staff don't sit them in the bar area
The food is great, the waiters are super nice. They are short staffed like most places these days you'll have to wait 30min. Leaving a one start review here because you have to wait long, due to being understaffed is not cool. Karens... tell your kids to work and get a job here. Let's not take it out on staff. It's not their fault people don't want to work these days.
Our server was great but overwhelmed. If chilis paid their staff well enough that people wanted to work there this review might be different. But because they don’t pay well, they can’t attract staff. Because they don’t have enough staff, there’s a 30-45 minute wait even though 50% of the restaurant is empty. Once you’re sat there’s a 10-20 minute wait before you’re greeted. You see where this is going right? If they paid better they would actually make more money, but instead service suffers and they’ll end up closing sooner or later. I used to go to chilis a lot, the service was good and the food wasn’t bad for the money, but We won’t be going back.(In contrast we went to Texas Roadhouse in Holly springs last night, also around 6:30 pm, which was jam packed with 30 minute wait, every table sat. BUT… they had plenty of servers and busers, with very quick service and were turning tables, making money)
They are all around good. Food and service ?
What a great place! The employees are hardworking and go above and beyond to meet the requests of customers. We had a new employee George as our waiter last night. It was clear how dedicated he is to his new position. I ordered the foie gras and instead of the standard frozen duck liver I would get at other restaurants, he prepared my meal from scratch. I actually saw him go outside and gracefully catch a duck in his mouth. He skinned it outside so we could witness the fresh. He took farm-to-table to a whole new level!
We like Chili's, but on this night there were barely any employees, so we waited for about 20-25 minutes and left. Very sad to see nobody wants to work in this country anymore. The place was empty with only two people working.
Easily the worst to-go service out of any restaurant in the Apex area. Probably ordered to-go from here 15 times the past 2 years, 10 out of the 15 times you will have to wait 25-35 minutes PAST what you’re pick up time was.they understaff the to-go employees, usually have 1 kid dealing with like 5-10 cars at once. Stacks of food just sit on the shelve through the door not moving an inch. This place is a pathetic display of trying to create an efficient to-go service. The Red Robin right down the street is 50 times better than this place.
We ordered To Go. We arrived within our time slot. We waited 10 minutes before someone took our payment and then another 15 before our food was brought to the car. The food was cold. When asked why it took so long, the gentleman said he had other things to do. No car deliveries were made in those 15 minutes by him. This was the second time we ordered To Go and the food and service was terrible. No more, we gave written Chili’s off our list of restaurants. Which is too bad because it was one of our favorites.
My grandma invited me to Chili's to enjoy a nice afternoon lunch. When we walked into the establishment, we were promptly seated in the sports section, with 10 screens showing various men with helmets running around a field. The place was dead, so I don't know what about me who was actually dressed up and an 83 year old lady gave off the impression that we'd like Chicken Fingers and to watch the 'game' but it's a bit insulting. The salmon I ordered was pretty decent and the waitress was attentive. That said, a number of staff would just periodically walk by and say "are you alright? / Is everything good?" No, I'm in the sports section of chili's sitting across from an old lady with carcinoma eating with her mouth open
