First time customer. I ordered several specialty pizza’s for a meeting with a doctor’s office and every single one was delicious! The chicken parm and the chicken bacon were some of the best pizza I’ve ever had. Everyone was asking where it was from and I happily let them know it was from Big Sergio’s. Will definitely be ordering again.
Two slices and a soda for 9 bucks!!! That’s crazy but it’s legit. The pizza is cooked in a stone oven. They sell it by the slice or the whole pie and it is delicious!!! If you like New York style this is your place!
Best NY style pizza I have had in the Triangle area. We got the BBQ Chicken. They use real, grilled chicken! Absolutely was delicious. The crust has the perfect crunch, but still folds. The rest is a chewy/doughy thin bite. Everything I look for in a real pizza. Our new go to pizza place.
I will never go back here. I went today for lunch stood in line for about 10 minutes before I ordered. Slice of pepperoni and slice of meat lovers only watch the gentlemen who ordered after get his meal and then another couple gets their meal. I watch a couple get their slices of pizza eat them and come up to order again and get their slices before I get mine. I tell the young hey what about my meal. She tells me to hold on to throw two slices of pizza that had been sitting out for awhile. I watched put everyone else slices in the oven to heat up. Needless to say I left her with Cold slices of pizza.
We have been ordering pizza from Big Sergio's Pizza for years, but enough is enough. Over the last 6+ months it seems like they have given up. We order a pizza and are not sure it will ever get here. If it does happen to arrive it's the wrong pizza, cold and undercooked. It's like they don't care. We have been good customers for many, many years but we are done. A frozen $2.00 Toombstone beats Sergios hands down.
First impressions left me with some concerns about the "help." And when the help is not doing a good job there is only management to blame. I scanned the menu and ordered the 18" classic pizza. The wall sign showed the price @ $21.95. I used a coupon but the balance of the bill plus tax was way more than my estimate. When questioned the female did a shoulder shrug several times even after I pointed out that tax on a $21.95 . pizza could not possibly be $5. and change. So I went a few rounds with her and finally determined that there had been a non-identified price increase. OK. But didn't anyone consider that the customer should be informed before the purchase? After straightening out the issue I sat at a table that had about 2 days worth of spills and grease. It was gross and stuck to my arms like flypaper to a bug. There were very few customers in late afternoon so the obvious excuse of being busy couldn't be effectively used to justify the filth. I liked the pizza. It was actually tasty, but I can't go back after experiencing the surprise price increase and the table goo.
We have ordered multiple times from this restaurant in the past and traditionally have had very good food. When we ordered today not only was part of the order not correct the two gyros that we ordered shoe leather would have been more appetizing than the burnt dried out meat that was in there. Of course since we ordered through doordash not able to get refunds I will think twice going forward if I'm ordering from this place.
This place surprised me! Everything on the menu is not only delicious, but it's amazing quality! This is as close as you get to NY Style pizza outside of NY! Chicken Rolls, pasta dishes, meatballs, eggplant, you can't go wrong and you will not be sorry! They are consistent and I'm so happy I found this place because now it's my go to for lunches and dinners!!
The cheese pizza was pretty good and we enjoyed our visit!
I ordered a chicken Philly sub and bread sticks. It got there quick and was very tasty. I will be going back. It was my first time using the site and felt terrible I forgot to add the tip. That was my fault. I will certainly make up for it next time.
