Every time we come the food is delicious and all the waitresses and waiters are fantastic.Top notch food and top-notch service! The owner, Carmen, always goes out of her way to say hello and make sure our visit is spectacular!
The food is delicious and the service is good. Prices are very reasonable. The place was fairly empty when we were there. I'm not sure why. This place should be packed for lunch. It's clean and able to accommodate groups large and small. There's a kids menu and the staff is family friendly. I noticed that Clifford and Sesame Street were playing on one of the TVs. Soccer and baseball were on other TVs. I will definitely return when I'm in the area.
We visited on a Friday night, 5pm. Early dinner time. We were promptly greeted and sat, and the chips came out quick! From there, everything was just about as perfect as possible. They seemed to be very busy and everyone was chipping in to help out, even the cashier was helping at tables. This is a sign of good management and great employees. Something you want to see at any restaurant you go to.The food was OUTSTANDING! Had the Chiles poblanos (the smoky sweet sauce on top really set it off), table guac, queso, and a fajita burrito. Finished the meal off with churros! Portion sizes were beyond satisfactory and we have enough for lunch tomorrow.Overall, we couldn't be happier with our experience (our first time there). Our young ones were having a great time and they ate all their tacos (a semi rare feat). We live about 45 minutes away and stopped in on the way home. Needless to say, we look forward to the 45 minute drive the next time we want Mexican food!!**Of note: at first glance, I thought the food would be generic Americanized Mexican food. And while some of it may seem that way, the reality was far from it. The menu is truly inspired and the food quality is above what I expected.
Came to this restaurant with my family after seeing a good review rating. Our experience started off decent, but things started to derail quickly. We had to send the chips back for fresh ones, the cheese dip had to go back because it was cold and not too mention it took FOREVER for us to get anything (drinks, booster seat, etc). Part of our food wasn’t even hot when it was delivered. Don’t get me wrong I understand things have been difficult since the pandemic, but some things are inexcusable. We were patient and nice with the mishaps in the beginning, but when I opened my tortillas in between two of them was some form of gray mushy substance that looked initially to us like mold. As we brought it to the managers attention without trying to alert other customers, she began to insist on making a new batch and telling me it was meat from the grill. I have seen what it looks like for leftover meat to be stuck to a tortilla and “THAT IS NOT WHAT THAT WAS.” As I persisted to tell her, she agreed she didn’t know what it was, but it wasn’t mold. This was the cherry on top for us. Even after all of this she has not one time apologized for our experience, so we left and will not be returning. Now a couple hours later we are home and my son is throwing up. Terrible experience!
I’m pretty certain hot water is a requirement in the bathroom per the health department. The pina colada and margarita were both made from a mix and rather gross. The chips were stale and when we asked for a fresh batch they brought out another batch of stale chips. The burrito verde was good and a large portion. The suizas were very bland but at least the chicken wasn’t over cooked. The waitresses threw the glass bottles into the bin so it was loud and annoying. Two stars instead of one because the chori queso was decent as was the burrito.
Not sure if pandemic related but over the last several months food quality has definitely gone way way downhill. Used to be one of our favorite locations, not the case any more. We hope that they get their act together and get back to where they were
Great service and atmosphere!
2:45 on a Saturday. Restaurant was empty except 1 booth with 4 guys having beers and queso. We asked to sit on the patio. 15 mins later I had to walk back in to see if someone was going to wait on our table. They come out and take out order. Food and drinks come out but my order is wrong. Refried instead of black beans. She said she knew it was wrong and was going to bring the black beans out. She never did. We ate our meal and waited for the check. It also never came. Eventually walked inside to try and pay. Our server was at the counter checking people out. She asked how everything was. I told her she never brought the beans out. Then she asked if I wanted some boxed up. No, I wanted to eat them with my meal. This was our first and last visit. The food was ok. Not worth going out of your way for. But the service was terrible. For that I won't return.
Carne asada was the best I have ever had. Food came out fast. This was our first visit and was quite a surprise find. Will definitely come back.
We went here with our 2 young kids for a Saturday lunch and it was great! It was a very clean restaurant and lots of booths which makes things easy with kids. We got our food SUPER fast and everything was delicious. The fajitas were fresh, juicy, and very tasty. The kids enjoyed their quesadillas and my husband finished his massive burrito. The complimentary chips and salsa were good and they brought us refills of chips. Service was good and overall excellent experience. The pricing is also VERY reasonable. Will return!
