So I think I've pretty much been to every "best wing joint in Raleigh." And I have to say, Apex Wings is at the top of the list! A local bar with a cool, laid back atmosphere, great service and amazing wings! We'll definitely be back.
What a gem! This is my first time here and i can post with 10”% assurance that Apex Wings is excellent. I had their special tonight which was 10 wings. I ordered them in all drums, crispy and with ranch dressing. Plus I ordered a side of onion rings. Everything came out perfectly. This is truly a local gem and it has a lot of what I like in a local favorite; great food, lots of patrons having a great time with an excellent wait staff.I’ll be certain to schedule my work travel to get back to Alex Wings soon. Yes, it’s that good.
Me and a friend ate here other night, and while it does have a nice environment with charming local vibe their chicken is overcooked. Very dry, very rubbery, and then drowned in sauce to make up for it. Theres no other restaurants in the area so i guess its good enough to fill your tummy but im ready for the area to have some restauraunts that actually know what good cooking is.
The wings are great and the servers are super friendly! The place was packed and they checked on us regularly.

Ordered wings to go and it taste was Chicken was a little chewy, I expected it to be little juicer but It wasn't the case. Hence 3 stars.I do recommend however.
The best wings in the Triangle, IMO. The teriyaki flavor is my favorite. Deep fried mushrooms, house made potato chips, as well as their salad dressings are delicious. The staff is always friendly and keeps good tabs on you.
