We have enjoyed going to eat here or take it to go in the past.After today we were disappointed.Got the pimento burger and the bread was stale. The house chips a family favorite were stale, oily and tasted like old oil. The bacon fries were great and that is why we gave it a two star.The server brought food out and we had no silverware or napkins. Also never came around to refill drink we had call for her to come and refill drinks.

Sat at the bar and ordered takeout. Took 45 minutes to get my order. The bar staff would not check on my order. Had to get a manager and walk back to the food area to get my food, which they said just came out. Although it was completely cold. So disappointed.
Overall great experience there, I've eaten it the one in Cary on several occasions but never Apex. Seems to be a newer venue but they're getting there just needs a little more rock and roll atmosphere. Can't say anything negative about the cleanliness, the friendly waitress and waiter services, and the quality of the food was completely awesome. And the cold beers were on spot ??..... Overall great job you guys keep up the good work ?
Went for lunch at the Apex location today . Normally a great spot for a burger and a beer . It took a few minutes to be seated, which happens no big deal . The person who seated us outside was unhappy and acted like it was inconvenience . We shook it off and sat outside , three servers passed us at least three times .. no communication.. be right with you, sorry for the wait. Etc . After over ten minutes of waiting we got up an left . So disappointing.
Fast service outdoor seating and very friendly
We went after a long day of moving. We were tired and in our "moving" attire and just wanted a place to chill out and get some good old comfort food. We knew this was the place. Having been there a bunch of times before we knew we could get a great hamburger, some fried pickles and some decent drinks. A place we continue to return to.
The service here was less than par. We had to refill our drinks ourselves once because no one came by to refill them. We had to get our own to go boxes because no one had come by our table to check on us. The table behind us had to ask to order because no one had come by to help them. The waiter serving us seemed very unprofessional and not overly friendly. My Buffalo chicken wrap was okay, but not the best I’d ever had. Now, the onion rings were delicious and I loved them!!! I would get more of them in a heartbeat. The decor of the place was really cool and clearly Beatles, etc. The restaurant was very cold as well.
Food is good, but service is lame. I came here late on a Thursday and sat down at the bar. There was one bartender who didn't acknowledge me until 10 minutes after. After ordering my drink and drinking for a few minutes I was ready to order food. She didn't come by to take my order or check in for 15 minutes. She was also slow to check in when I was ready for the check. Why be a bartender if you're not going to tend the bar?
Food is pretty good. Almost always great service. Excellent beer selection. Parking can be a bit of a pain if you're there at peak hours. Their burgers are excellent.
I got the chili with salad for lunch. Food, service, and company I came with was fabulous. There was a really great atmosphere also. The temperature was a bit cold, so bring a coat and eat something warm.
