homemade pierogies were great. the lady was very nice.
Went there at 5:30 (sign says they close at 6). The clerk told us that we could order even though the store was closing soon, but when we started walking around the store a man came out of the back and forcefully pushed us out of the store. DO NOT GO HERE! the employees are Very disrespectful.
The store closed at 6:00, I got there at 5:30 and a guy started pushing me out, telling me that the store was closed, even when the lady at the counter said that the store was still open. I tried to buy something but he refused to let me and pushed me out anyways. I'm Ukrainian and I'm very sad that my experience there was so unpleasant.
Friendly staff. Lots of fresh, interesting options for Eastern European fare, such as cheeses and sausges. They sell a cherry cheese babka that is simply delicious.
Usually the quality of the food is good. However I went there just before christmas which should be busy. I ordered $60.00 of food from the young man behind the counter. When I got home I threw $60.00 worth of food into the garbage. All the food clearly passed its shelf life. I won't go back there again

Nice Lady at the counter. Lots of authentic Polish products, and excellent homemade smoked products ESP. Their Kielbasa and homemade Pierogies. Excellent. array of frozen products.
Fabulous kielbasa which pairs extremely well with their hot mustard, carrot salad, pierogis and I made a beet dip that married well with it all. They’ve been in business 53 years and well earned with these rich flavors. Go try lots of things and have a taste of Poland in Yonkers.
It's a must for Russian Easter. We love everything we get there and now neighbors ask us to pick up things for them. Love the kielbasa, bacon, peroghi, mustard and horseradish!
