Excellent service, atmosphere and food. I tried the lobster tail, lamb chops and shrimp trio. I requested to sub out the mixed veggies and potatoes with garlic and broccoli rabe. We also tried the veal parmigiana with mixed veggies and potatoes. Both meals were plentiful and tasty. Parking is on the slim side but patrons are allowed to use the WellsFargo bank on a Sunday.
Food is fantastic. The taste and quality is phenomenal ? ... the atmosphere is beautiful and the staff are so attentive. Definitely a gem ? in Yonkers. Ezekiel and his staff are great people. Go check for yourself; if your in the area- you must stop by and have a bite!
The food is great and very fresh! I also love the very friendly and courteous staff. A shout out to Jay who’s always a great and knowledgeable waiter!
This was the first time there, and the last. The night started with a 25 minute wait even with reservations. We were hoping for it to get better from there, it didn't. Kelvin was by far one of the worst servers I've ever had. He was rude, short and made it as if us being there was an inconvenience to him. The appetizers came and Kelvin didn't come back to the table for 30+ minutes. All the drinks on the table were empty and when i ordered a fresh 1 he walked away not even bothering to ask if anyone else needed one, which they did. The appetizers were also not the greatest. The calamari was soggy and marinara was watery. The clams were good. After about another 30 minutes we were finally asked if we decided on entrées. Which no one in my family enjoyed. The salmon was overcooked, and the lamb was mediocre at best. The portion sizes were extremely small for the high price of dish. I would not recommend this restaurant and I will make it well known to my friends and family.
We called for a reservation with a large group only 24 hours before and they were happy to accommodate us. Service was excellent from everyone there. Food was delicious. We will definitely be back!
Great service and food ?Three of us went for dinner. The portion size was large. We had to take home food. I will go back again without a problem. Old world style and service.
I've reviewed this place before but it's not showing up so I'm posting again. If I could rate this place and the staff 1000 stars I would. The space is spacious enough to host more 80 people. It's clean, well lit with a lovely ambiance, great sound system, the food is totally yummy and great portion sizes, down to earth yet professional and efficient staff and management and they have parking options for events!! Less than a month before our wedding, we had to change our wedding lunch venue. We contacted Ezekiel and that man is a Saint. He was so calm, efficient, professional yet friendly. From his first email he made us feel that it was all going to work out. In person he was even better. He was most accommodating and even when we informed it was wedding related, he didn't try to charge us extra as the other places do. They did a lovely job organizing the many tables we needed yet still leaving the space with enough room, the servers were efficient, friendly and so lovely (they noticed I hadn't eaten the entire time and packed up several plates of each dish for me to take with, which was a God send later). Even when a few guests were unnecessarily rude and difficult they descalated the situation without a scene being caused. This was the the most seamless part of my wedding day/planning and I will always be grateful to them for that. I'd definitely hold another event here and just to have dinner. They're absolutely worth it.
Tobolinos a real authentic Italian restaurant. I was an intern there when I was 18.watched and studied with the chefs from Italy 40 years ago where my passion for cooking development. Afterward went to 1 of 10 Executive chefs at PRICE WATERHOUSE FOR 10 YEARS. The new owners are an entire family very kind and hospitable there service is amazing. I went back this Saturday with 4 couples and it was like I never left, some of the decor has changed but the kitchen is exactly ? the same as I remember it. Please try Tobolinos in Yonkers you not be disappointed.
I've been going to Tombolino's for years and the food is always delicious! Recently I hosted two parties here, both in which Ezekiel helped plan. He was extremely accommodating and responsive throughout the entire process. The events were perfect with great food and staff and I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. I would highly recommend for dinner or events!
Let’s not forget Tombolinos….Always delicious and beautiful Italian at home cuisine. This restaurant doesn’t miss a beat. Always such a treat. Delicious baked clams, fresh tossed salad, followed by stuffed chicken rolitini with prosciutto, brie cheese, smothered with mushrooms. Amazing generous portions with wonderful friendly service. I highly recommend. So enjoyable ❤️ Can’t wait yo go back!
