Excellent restaurant for tacos. Typical taco menu and drinks, with the service being timely and the staff very friendly.Was not crowded at all and was able to find seating for a party of 3 on a random week night. Location is right by the river so the views are nice, if you go during daylight hours.On the expensive side, but the value is there; good food-to-price ratio. No specific menu items to note, but the mojitos are recommend.Would definitely go again as it's in a nice area and parking was not a problem. Feel free to walk around the waterfront after, as it's still relatively newly developed.
I came on a rainy day. The view was still breathtaking, since this place is right on the board walk.Our waiter was attentive but didn’t inform us of their specific cooking menu. They don’t have a grill here so the menu is limited on the number of cooked items in their program.The food was good but not memorable.Otherwise there are other dining options next door to still enjoy the scenic views while dining.
It's a nice ambiance. Beautiful view of the river. Perfect name for this restaurant since part of the name spells river in Spanish. : ) waitress and bus boy were very helpful with advice on what to eat and drink. So that's a plus for me !
2nd time to the TaqueRio . Absolutely beautiful outdoor seating area overlooking the Hudson River. Unfortunately the food is not very appetizing. Wait staff are friendly but not don't understand the basics of food service. Both times I've gone the wait staff has brought appetizers/food without utensils, plates etc... Hopefully the owner will hire a cook who is better able to make flavorful food and train the wait staff on the basics of food service....the restaurant has potential but needs some work.

The environment, service, and drinks were great! My only issue was with the food, the tacos were okay and sadly reminded me of Taco Bell( I had one of each). Ordered the nachos and the guacamole. The Nachos had lettuce, tomato, cheese, and ground beef and tasted okay. The Guacamole and Chips were fine but the serving size was a bit small. Cool spot to hang out just don’t except anything great food wise.
The restaurant is facing Yonkers Waterfront so you can imagine the view. Great customer service from the host outside to the servers inside, bartender and owner. Great community vibe. I ordered the vegan rice bowl to go. I will definitely return.
Pretty good but not the best. Also portion was terrible especially for the price. The tacos are basically appetizers and the service was mediocre. Drinks were pretty decent though. I wouldn’t come again to be honest.
Nice quaint place by the Hudson river, tacos, drinks and service is good.
