I'll preface this by saying that I've been here several times over the years and the tacos are excellent. If I had just ordered tacos the last time I went, my review would be 5-star. However, I stopped by the other evening. They had a specials board up that included "Tortitas de Camarones," which translates to shrimp cakes or small shrimp tortas. I ordered them to try something different and they were awful. Spongy, moist, fishy pucks in a tomato based sauce, with rice and beans to the side. Not even a hint of a piece of shrimp. I'm an unfussy eater and rarely send something back. I could have eaten the rice and beans and been generally satisfied, but the shrimp pucks were inedible and I didn't feel like paying $18 for a side of rice and beans. I sent the dish back and ordered tacos instead (pollo and el pastor--both delicious). When the bill came, they charged me for the $18.00 shrimp pucks plus the tacos. I told the waitress that, while I could pay for both, I didn't think it was right. After checking in the back, she said that they had to charge me because they had to throw the food out. I told her that they shouldn't charge for something that was sent back because it was not good, but I wasn't going to make a scene. Perhaps something was lost in translation, but I was surprised and disappointed. Two stars because the tacos are excellent, and food on other people's tables looked good as well. Sad because I always enjoyed going there but won't be back any time soon.
today i had one meeting with my Japanese friends at home and they loved it for real. The food was good and they will take it home and it was a success thanks everything delicious. I’m definitely ordering here again
Pretty good Mexican food. Prices have gone up alot but that has happened almost everywhere now.
The signs say best tacos in town and they’re not lying. The steak taco is literally the best taco I’ve ever had.Now the reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because the burritos were so greasy that they fell apart, not sure that that’s about. Will only order the tacos from here.
Would not recommend food from here. I ordered a chimichanga which came with a side of rice and beans. The rice was not seasoned and had no flavor. The beans were so watery it looked like they put them in a blender and liquefied them. The meat in the chimichanga was unseasoned and had no flavor. Part of the meet was also dry. The chimichanga was not fried- the tortilla was completely white. And, when I called to inquire I was told a flour tortilla could not be fried. Very disappointed with the flavor of the food and that they were unable to deliver a fried burrito.
best tacos in town for real. red sauce is fire. walked in, ordered take out, was out the door within 10.
I used to love ordering from here but they messed up my order by not including a item which I paid for. The lady I spoke to on the phone said they would send the driver to deliver it. Guess what happened! He never came, I called them again and they said he was on his way. It's now the next day and I guess he is still on his way. ?
The food is good, but pricey. Forget about drinking beers here, your going to pay $6.40 for a modelo.
Great food. Pollo Nachos Mexicana (Mexican Chicken Nachos) with spicy red sauce is one of my favorite dishes.
Food is amazing! Service was also very good!
